I was not happy with the tiny very old room or cleanliness of the room that I was given for the night. And the waiting line I was very i pleased. I remember the way golden nugget use to be Considering I’m an elite member. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Some rooms have terrible view

Jan 3rd, 2020

We have visited the casino may times, but this was the first time staying over. The room was okay, but the view was terrible. We like this place because they don't charge for parking which I believe is awful. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Tier Level Upgrade

Jan 1st, 2020

1st time ever GN. Went New Years eve for tier up grade. We valet parked figuring it would be free like all other casinos in AC with top tier card. After receiving GN top tier card was then told privileges wouldn't be available til April provided we met X amount of points, I think it was 12,500. It appears it is all just a con to get a person in. Because it doesn't say anything about this on the billboards on way in. Lol..Had we known would never had gone in first place..lol. Well we left right after that scam. To bad you could've had four satisfied customers who would've return. At least you banged us for $15 Bucks for Valet. Lol. As a frequent flier to AC we will never recommend GN. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Cheesy AC Casino/Hotel

Dec 16th, 2019

I stayed here one night during the week on a business trip, since we were having dinner with a client at Vic & Anthony's in the hotel. The restaurant was decent, but they should close it off a little more to the rest of the casino. The woman working at the front desk was a sweetheart. When I checked in, she said my room was on the "Owner's Floor" (27th floor), so it was pretty nice. It looked average to me. My room, a suite, was big. 1 1/2 bathrooms, a living room and bedroom. It was hard to see, but the toilet in my room hadn't been cleaned properly, because someone had obviously lift the seat up and had thrown up and I could see the dried vomit when I bent down to look. Other than that my room was very clean. And the bed/pillows were very comfortable. Gift shop is open 24/7, so good if you need to purchase toiletries or drinks/snacks. I left at 7:30 the next morning, and the music was very loud - I know it's a casino, but I thought it was early for it to be that loud. I got my car from the valet very quickly, and notice some garbage outside the hotel when I was waiting for it (presumably from the night before). You don't see that at upscale hotels, and I realized this is definitely not one. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Nugget to be avoided, other casinos are not the greatest but better by a land slide

Dec 12th, 2019

Bathrooms were disgusting...could not find 1 decent stall out of 10. Attendent was in there doing her best. Almost every machine I put my card in, slots or video poker does not work to read my players card. I'm sorry but I'd rather go where my play matters. Never have a problem at Ocean or hardly at Borgota. Also I earned enough points for a promotion (earning 100 tier credits) and didn't get the promotional free play!! Money I could have spent else where TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
