Worst Hotel Suite Ever!!!
Sep 15th, 2020
Upgraded to a ‘Corner Suite with Panoramic Views’. The only difference in this room compared to others in this tower is an extra window looking over rooftops. Don’t waste your money! Sooooo disappointing! TV does not work! No luggage rack. No tissue. No soap dish. Makeup mirror is broken. Will not light up. No blanket. Only a sheet on the bed. Ridiculously bad lighting. Can’t see in the bathroom or the main room. Bulbs missing from light fixtures. Absolutely no where to charge a phone, tablet or computer except the bathroom! Really? This place is so completely outdated! I’ve been waiting over an hour for a manager to call me back regarding my issues. I was told I can come back down stairs and wait in line to speak with the manager. Seriously? It took over an hour to check into this hell hole! Never ever will we stay here again! This hotel & casino has gone to hell. Honestly it doesn’t even deserve the mandatory one star to leave the review. Absolutely disgusting. Not just the hotel and the casino but also the staff. Extremely rude. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Consider selling the nugget for some updating.

The water pressure in the shower was less then awful. I pee with more pressure. Was charged the resort fee even though getting into the pool was impossible and the slide is closed. If you're looking for a vegas getaway during covid look elsewhere. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Labor Day Weekend Covid 19

Hotel was very clean, safety measures in place. No housekeeping during stay but they were always in the hallways cleaning stuff. First time at the Golden Nugget Las Vegas would definitely come again. Enjoyed the whole trip TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Have been staying at the Nugget for years now and have always enjoyed my stays up until now. Just stayed for 3 nights over the holiday weekend and believe that the hotel is going down hill even with keeping COVID in mind. Check in was a breeze as we didn't arrive until 10pm, so no lines. Went up to my room in the Rush Tower and had no lights at all in my bathroom. Call downstairs and they sent someone up to fix. Next morning I went to the bathroom and no lights again. Every time I tried to turn them on I blew the circuit and had to press the button to get them to come on. They did not suggest a room change so I was resetting the breaker every time I wanted to use the bathroom. Parking - Went out on Saturday afternoon to visit Red Rock, come back and no parking. Drove around and around the parking lot and then they suggested we try parking at the casino next door, again full. Drove back to the Nugget and finally found a park after a total of 1 hour driving all over the place. Players Club - Doesn't open until 11am each day so if you want to collect your comps you have to wait. I had $50 on my card on Sunday morning and couldn't collect before we drove out so I lost it. Rush Tower - Room was so noisy as they put us on the Freemont side with all the music. No kleenex in the room, no blanket and phone didn't work properly. Not to mention the problem with my lights. Safety - Staff were very strict with guests wearing masks, which was nice. Even though you had to have a mask on the whole time you were in the casino it seems that it's ok to walk around half naked. I'm not a prude but I do not want to see a not so good looking butt hanging out of a thong bikini in Chick-Fil-A. Have some respect while you're sitting your bare sweaty butt cheeks on the seats while waiting for your food. Gross! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

And that's the nicest thing I can say. Stayed at the Golden Nugget due to a great deal on Hotels Tonight. I was told there wouldn't be maid service due to Covid which was fine. At just before 9am Housecleaning entered my room waking me up. I called the front desk to tell them and the lady said "Did she knock? It's ok if she knocked" Next time try appologizing before taking the side of your employees. They also say "free wifi"but there wifi tested at .48 Mbps that's "Point 48" so basically they force you to buy their highs peed internet at $10 a night. Unacceptable service. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
