I always stay at this charming hotel when I come to Madison

Oct 14th, 2019

Adorable rooms and great staff. Close to all student action, bars, restaurants, the lakes, the Capitol building and the stunning Memorial Union and rest of campus. Fun for alums and business people alike. Special shout-out to Hannah who was flexible and accommodating in our possible room switch and in giving us specific ideas for day's activities for seeing fall foliage and beautiful landscapes. Cute property but paper thin walls

Sep 15th, 2019

I love Graduate Hotel properties as a rule and the decor and staff at the Madison one don’t disappoint. The issue is really how crazy paper thin the walls are. I understand it’s a hotel and as such you’re going to hear your neighbors from time to time. But this is the worst version of non-existent soundproofing I’ve ever experienced. I could hear my neighbor cough clear as a bell through the wall. All. night. long. Not even muffled really - more like the guy was right next to me. Could hear folks above me, in the halls - again, like they were right next to me. Not an experience I’ll want to try again. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Graduate Hotels, a continued unique hotel experience

Sep 11th, 2019

As a different type of business traveler, I have stayed in almost every type of hotel (loyal to the points program - always exploring new options). When I stumbled upon my first graduate hotel in Lincoln NE I was instantly blown away at the detail and comment to making my stay authentic to the town and state I was visiting. Consider it a hipster mini museum for the college town you are visiting. My recent stay in Madison WI was no different (even though in my personal opinion, Madison is a far superior town to Lincoln). Location? Block from campus and the beer garden on the lake Amenities? Madison has lots of options for food/drink. Both the coffee and food/drink launched my evening nicely. Getting around a bike friendly town like Madison (that has rentals everywhere), the graduate has you covered with a free vintage cruiser. Details - like all graduate hotels, you learn something about that state or university in which you stay. Did you know the triple lindy was “performed” at UW Madions campus in the 80s classic movie Back to School? Staff - well Bethany at the graduate was smart enough to provide a small welcome back “gift bag” with a personal note and free drink/coffee cards. Can’t say enough about these graduate hotels. Hoping for a rewards program sooner than later TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

EPIC Training Whirlwind

Aug 14th, 2019

I was fortunate to stumble upon this charming hotel while planning my trip to Verona, WI for EPIC training. This nearby, Madison hotel has very quaint rooms, complete with ‘Cheese Curd’ and plaid themed pillows, comfortable beds and a desk perfect for completing any assignments in the evenings. The rooms were very clean. The customer service at the hotel is OUTSTANDING!! While situated about 20-30 mins from Verona, the hotel has daily shuttles to and from the EPIC training center and the airport. The location is ideal for its proximity to the Capitol building, the lake with walking paths, the UW campus, State street and some favorite, local restaurants. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
