EPIC Training Whirlwind

Aug 14th, 2019

I was fortunate to stumble upon this charming hotel while planning my trip to Verona, WI for EPIC training. This nearby, Madison hotel has very quaint rooms, complete with ‘Cheese Curd’ and plaid themed pillows, comfortable beds and a desk perfect for completing any assignments in the evenings. The rooms were very clean. The customer service at the hotel is OUTSTANDING!! While situated about 20-30 mins from Verona, the hotel has daily shuttles to and from the EPIC training center and the airport. The location is ideal for its proximity to the Capitol building, the lake with walking paths, the UW campus, State street and some favorite, local restaurants. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great Hotel!

Jul 23rd, 2019

I came for a night with my family. The hotel was great! Friendly staff and very clean rooms. The location is nice and there are lots of food places in walking distance. I would definitely return for another stay. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Couldn’t be better!

Jul 9th, 2019

I was traveling for work, but honestly felt like I was on vacation. From the moment I stepped foot, the staff was incredibly kind and helpful with every question. As someone who has traveled extensively in corporate hotels, I was looking for a cozier, more unique experience - and the Graduate delivered on all accounts! Their coffee bar downstairs and bar upstairs are not to be missed - excellent bookends to the day. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

The Red-Headed Stepchild

Jun 9th, 2019

Having stayed at the Graduate Madison, visiting the Graduate Madison was a great disappointment. While the location is excellent, rooms are small and the guest bathrooms are in bad-need of renovation. The shower stall is simply repugnant and the baseboards look like they hadn't been cleaned in months. Lighting is poor, carpet is unappealing, and two people cannot share the loo. Worst of all is the noise level. If you book an 01 or 15 room you are directly across from the elevator, which "bings" all night, and your view is the wall of a neighboring building. Walls are poorly soundproofed and you are easily able to hear your neighbors as well as the revelry coming from the rooftop bar. On the plus side, beds are comfortable and the day manager, Stephen, is both charming and accommodating (as opposed to the evening desk clerk who was not). Rate was $379, while Ann Arbor's was $333 for a room nearly double the size with greater design, amenities, and comfort. The Edgewater would have been a better choice of hotel. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Super cute hotel

May 13th, 2019

My family and I stayed at The Graduate for one night in a King Suite. We were greeted right away by the front desk agent. He told us we had to check out the roof top restaurant while we were there and had other helpful information for us. He was very knowledgeable about the hotel and area. The rooftop bar/restaurant was really fun and had great food. There were many people up there and seemed to be a popular spot with a view of the capitol building. Our room was decorated like the rest of the hotel with a definite collegiate look with lots of character. Very cute! We really enjoyed our stay and the ability to walk to shops and restaurants being right off State Street. It was also cool being so close to the UW Campus and Memorial Union. We will definitely stay again! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
