Such a good hotel. Clean, quite, nice staff, rooms are a good size and bathrooms are great. Most importantly the location is amazing! Seriously close to everything and the metro is a 1 min walk !! I sincerely recommend TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Perfect for late night arrival

Jul 29th, 2019

Arrived in the middle of the night after late flight. Reception service tops. Good clean modern room with a little balcony overlooking street action below. No noise disturbance. Very well situated in busy old quarter - plenty of cafes, restaurants and shops close by, Good value for money. Helpful friendly staff. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Nice hotel, excellent value for money!

We booked directly with the hotel, and were surprised at how reasonable it was. Not expecting too much, we were delighted with the interior. The rooms have been recently renovated, and were modern. Our bathroom was particularly lovely, with a huge walk-in shower. The room had dual aspect windows, and a small balcony which was very nice. There was a lack of storage space, but this is something we have come to expect for a family, and we can work around it. There was some noise at night, but again this was expected being right in the heart of the Gothic quarter. I had requested a room at the rear, but they were at full occupancy. We were thankful for the free a/c as it was a very hot week! The surrounding area was lovely, with an abundance of shops and restaurants. We had breakfast included, which was sufficient. The cava was a nice touch ;-) Wifi was also good, which is crucial for our teenager. I would most definitely stay here again, and recommend to others. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

This hotel was excellent! The rooms were very clean and had a cute little balcony. The location was great, but there was some late night noise which is typical for Barcelona. The room was clean and newly renovated! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

We stayed in The Gothic Quarter just for one night having visited friends who live just a little further down the coast from Barcelona. Easy to find and easy to walk from to experience the Gothic Quarter. Not the cheapest we found but certainly looked like it would be a nice place to stay. The room was very comfortable and our fabulous balcony was probably bigger than the room, with sun loungers and a table with chairs. We didn't eat at the hotel as there are amazing tapas bars nearby. The only drawback was that the fabulous balcony looked at the back of the cathedral and the cathedral bells chime every quarter hour, day and night. So the best advice is to take ear plugs if you are a light sleeper! The shower was really excellent, lots of power with a rain head and a handheld shower head. No bath. My wife did notice a pile of hair in a corner behind the bathroom door but we think it had simply been accidentally missed during vacuuming as the rest of the room was properly clean. The staff were fantastic and let us leave our bags both before checking in to the room and after we checked out (they lock them away in a room at reception, so they are safe). I'd certainly stay there again. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
