Reminiscence and legendary hotels of the Acapulco Golden age from the 70's.

Reminiscence and legendary hotels of the Acapulco Golden age from the 70's. This hotel still offers a convenient luxurious accommodation for families and guests. Located on Icacos Beach, it offers extraordinary views of the famous bay and has the convenience to be across from Celebrated Baby'O super nightclub. On Sundays they serve a fantastic champagne Brunch with great sea food, grilled delicacies and more. Two large pools and a private beach are among some of the best It boosts two towers with outstanding rooms. An assortment of types offer different options to families and single travelers. My last visti was by far an extraordinary gateway to delight and joy TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Interesting experience!

Amazing view from the room. Hotel is from the very best in Acapulco. Very friendly staff, they know how to respect their guests, how to make them feel welcome. Good prices. Clean. With wifi, amazing gym with panoramic sea view while exercising, pools, lobby, restaurant.... it has just a bit weird smell when entering but it s ok. Service is excellent. Room service also. Food is nice, but for sure i prefer meditteranean cuisine. So glad it has been given this chance to me to stay there. Thanks everyone for making my experiance so remarkable and unforgettable. Nice hotel, but needs improvement

The hotel is old, there is no AC in the halls and when you wait for an elevator it can get really uncomfortable. Also there is usually a line to be able to use the elevator. The restaurants are good, the food is good The beach is "ok", I don't really like the beach in acapulco and the sand is not fine sand. you have to pay for the beach chairs. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

What an amazing view!

This hotel most likely has the best view in Acapulco. Absolutely stunning. We lucked out and picked a suite with a view, and the room was incredible! Very clean and very spacious. Not sure what all the bad reviews are about, but I did not have a single complaint, other than the fact that I had to return to the cold northeast to come home. Room service was fairly prompt and i wouldn’t say the greatest food, but for the convienence, we (my husband, 3 yo, and myself) were very happy! The pools and beach access were great! Keep a lot of spare cash on you for hidden towel and chair charges, as well as the hoards of people trying to sell you stuff on the beach. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Hated to Come Home

I just can’t believe some of the negative reviews I’ve read about the staff and service. We found everyone went out of their way to be kind and helpful... the pool staff, restaurant staff, front desk, security, maids and management. Additionally, we utilized the services of the Executive Club. The people in there were fabulous, taking care of us for delicious breakfast and afternoon drinks/snacks, and even making reservations for us. We were in a remodeled room that was clean and lovely. We had plenty of towels and supplies everyday so I don’t understand why some of the reviewers had issues. The hotel is in a great location and you absolutely can’t beat Acapulco weather in the winter. I really did not want to go home. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
