Comfortable Adriatico!

Jan 28th, 2020

Husband and I stayed here for 3 nights whilst on a short break to Florence. Had a room with a view ( extra cost for this privilege but well worth it). Daily house keeping was excellent. No drawer storage. Two small drawers in lobby wardrobe. So inconvenient! We lived out of suitcases! There is space for a chest of drawers and, considering room cost, this should be addressed by management. Good lighting, comfortable bed. Great decor in entrance lobby (a water wall) and large reception with comfortable seating. Rooms were mainly orange decor! Breakfast was mostly good. Plenty of fresh fruit, breads, meats, cheeses, cereal and yoghurt. Scrambled eggs were overcooked and bacon was salty and fatty. I'm sure it had been deep very unhealthy. This needs to be addressed by the management. Overall a comfortable hotel to return to after a day sightseeing. Most tourist sights within a few minutes walk, buses and trams ditto. Both link to railway station and airport. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Good, clean mid-range hotel

Jan 5th, 2020

Recently stayed here with family over Christmas. Hotel was clean and comfortable with good options available for breakfast. A range of different pillows are available on request, which certainly helped us to sleep better. Easy walking distance to the main historic areas of the city. About 5-10 minutes walk from the train station. Would recommend this hotel. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Awesome hotel, great service

Dec 18th, 2019

Stayed 2 nights with breakfast. Room is spacious, bed comfortable, excellent shower, and centrally located. Walking distance to the duomo and to all of Florence major attractions. 8 min walk to Firenze SN train station. Beside the hotel is a self service laundry. Breakfast is full buffet - tasty, delicious. Most importantly, hotel personnel whom we had encounter with like reception and in the restaurant are friendly, helpful, and courteous! Highly recommended! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great location to reach different parts of Florence

Dec 16th, 2019

The Hotel Adriatico is located strategically close to Santa Maria Novella station, close to Arno and strategic to all Florence attractions. The staff at the reception was very kind and helpful. The triple room was clean and wide enough. The breakfast was rich and varied. Good wifi. We had only a problem with the TV, and room service attends immediately. Good idea to provide a room menu' with a different selection of pillows!!! Highly suggested! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Excellent value hotel in central Florence, great staff.

Dec 13th, 2019

My wife and I had a 3-night break as part of Air France's La Collection programme. This is a very comfortable, spacious, central hotel 10 mins walk from the Cathedral etc.Our room was of good quality, with comfortable, spacious bed, good WiFi and small balcony. The buffet breakfast was included and was more than satisfactory. We received an upgrade as part of La Collection and so our stay was of even greater value. The staff were very welcoming and professional. Special thanks to Marco and Alessia for retrieving my wife's fitbit, which had been left behind, and arranging to forward it to us in the UK. I would highly recommend the Grand Hotel Adriatico for location, price, comfort and professional staff. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
