New favorite hotel in Moscow

Jan 7th, 2020

I absolutely love this hotel! I had a day and a half in Moscow before a night train from Belorusskaya station, so I got this room. It was a bit hard for the Yandex driver to find, but eventually he was able to get to the entrance after asking around a bit. The entrance is through a sort of shopping center next to a couple of pubs and bars, so it isn't super obvious from the street. The decor is extremely 1990s Russia- gaudy to no end, and I loved the crazy character of it all. The room was large, very comfortable, with a nice couch as well as a big bed, and the shower looked like a space machine from a 1950s movie (and worked great, most importantly!) The staff is very nice. Remember, this is Russia. You aren't going to get a welcome ceremony. But they were still all very helpful and nice. Breakfast is huge, with something to please everyone. I checked out of my room at about 11 am and left my luggage with the receptionist. After walking around most of the afternoon, I started to feel like I was getting a migraine. I asked the hotel staff if I could get a room from about 5 pm to 9 pm, leaving right before my train. They said they unfortunately could not charge less than a day's rate. When I said to just give me a room at the full rate anyway, because I really did not want to take an overnight train while being sick, the receptionist was nice enough to find me one with a decent discount, since it was one of the little single bed rooms up on the top floor (where the elevator doesn't work for the last flight of stairs). Amazing location, good price, basic hotel

Aug 31st, 2019

Grand hotel Belarusskaya Pluses: - amazing location - 3 mins walk from Belarus station (ring circle brown line, green line - 2 stations till Red square, 35 mins aeroexpress to Sheremetievo airport); - Good service; - Ok breakfast; - Big rooms with beautiful view; - Many shops and restaurants around. 10 mins walk to famous Depo food court/restaurants. - Great price/quality ration for this location. Minuses: - it is not very ordinary hotel... specially 6th floor lol. - No gym; - Not super foreigners friendly: can add english names to coffee machine, dishes during breakfast, some basic information inside the rooms. - No light isolation - better have mask. In general recommend. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Not Grand

Jul 10th, 2019

Rooms to the 6th floor are accessible by elevator. You have to get off at the 5th floor & carry your own luggage .DAMN. The Room sizes differ from 3rd floor which are small & the 6th floor. Our friends got that @ 305 & we were on 603. The kitchen staff is very rude. NOT RECOMMENDING AT ALL. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Not a 4 stars but good view from the room

May 29th, 2019

Nice hotel near by the Belorusskaya Station (direct link from/to Sheremetevo airport) and few step away from the metro and its central circle route from where you can easily reach any part of the city centre. I received a nice room with panoramic view on the square. Breakfast is very basic and room condition are not for sure 4 stars hotel. Anyway it was worthy the price.. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Less than average

Room size is oke, bathroom is very small. Bed is not very comfy, and the walls between the rooms are paper thin. The people in the room next door woke me up doing some late evening bed exercise. I felt I was in the room. View from the room was great though. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
