Diego Torre - RCI Ambassador

May 16th, 2020

The Grand Mayan at Vidanta Nuevo Vallarta is an outstanding place to stay but, the highlight of the experience was our RCI Ambassador, Diego Torre. His professionalism, follow-up and respect were unparalleled by any other member of the property staff. Our family vacation was made a wonderful experience simply because he took it upon himself to treat us with respect and appreciation during our stay rather than just regard us a visiting tourist to check-in/check-out. Thank you so much Diego!!!! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Super, super help fron the Concierge Service at Grand Mayan.

Apr 1st, 2020

On our departure day we loaded all our bags (4 people) into a taxi at Vidanta, Nuevo Vallarta. When we unloaded at the airport, my very-small laptop bag didn't come out of the trunk. The trunk liner was balck and the bad was black. I didn't notice until we were waiting to check in at the airport. I called Customer Service at Vidanta from the Departure Lounge and told them my story. They took all the details, including the taxi ID from me, tracked down the cab and recovered the bag to Lost and Found at Vidanta. They then called me, in Canada, to get the description of the contents and the value. Next they got the cost to ship it back to Canada and sent me a transfer request for the $65 cost. It arrived this past Monday, in perferct condition, along with my mouse, my house key, my charger and my cables. WOW!!! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Fun with Family

Mar 27th, 2020

Excellent service, gorgeous resort with lots to see and do. A 5 star vacation place for family. I love that the grounds are kept so immaculate and services are at your fingertips. Most amazing part are the dinner shows and various pools with lazy river and slides. Restaurants are all 5 star. Lots of shady spots to sit under by the pool with mature vegetation/trees. Boardwalk trails are throughout the acres of "Jurassic Park" grounds. When I checked out on March 13, Elizabeth Conde at the Grand Mayan, went above and beyond to make it exceptional. She was excellent and worthy of recognition for her service. Her warm smile is contagious. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Never Again

Mar 25th, 2020

First impression; beautiful landscape, and very polite service. After two days I felt like in a concentration camp. Hard to get out or get in. No public transportation. You have to walk 1.5 mile threw the beach to the Sea Garden to get a public bus. Your time share presentation was a hit. 8:15 hours presentation. The longest ever. To get my worthless vouchers I had to go to other resort "Mayan Marina", where again I got work up of more "time sharing". Vouchers I got are a scam. On-line they lead you to unsecured website. There was no breakfast included as stated. Resort fee of some $250 for only me in a studio is another ripoff. Shows and laser show are basically same each day, so after two days except for expensive resort restaurants there is not much to do. The last two days there were no shows, and most restaurants closed because of the virus. In my unit there wasn't even a micro oven, or any utensils. Is this a time share? Not enough electric outlets even to plug the coffee maker. The beach is not the greatest at that location. It is much better at the Sea Garden, which was closed due to the virus. I don't intend to stay in any Mayan or Vida resorts ever again. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Nuevo Vallarta 3/15-3/22

Mar 25th, 2020

The Grand Mayan at Vidanta Nuevo Vallarta is second to none! It is hands down the best resort to visit families with kids in Puerto Vallarta. Vidanta is very intentional about accommodating families as well as couples. The rooms are impeccable with thought be given to any and everything you might need during your stay. And if it isn't there, they'll make sure to get it for you! The service, from the Bell Boy, Operator, Concierge, etc. is unparalleled. My family had an incredible time there and we made memories that will last a life time. Without question on our next stay in Puerto Vallarta, we'll be back to Vidanta in Nuevo Vallarta. The only criticism I have is for individuals with interest in the Resort and becoming owners. Be careful when you are invited for the "Welcome Drink." The person you talk to will be very persuasive about seeing the resort and the 90 minute sales presentation. I did not have a problem with that as I was interested and Vidanta is well worth the consideration for membership because of the phenomenal product they have in Mexico. My issue was with the person/people that welcomed us (Oscar and Rudulpo). Unfortunately, they did not represent Vidanta in the best light by not honoring the incentives that they offered us to go on the presentation. I was very disappointing given the overall great experience we had as a family at Vidanta. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
