We normally do not review unless a place is the extreme. This place- 10 stars!!! Thank you so much to the staff at Grand Residences for such an amazing stay. Your attention to detail is unparalleled by any other place we have stayed in Mexico. The cleanliness of the resort and the measures you are taking with your staff during Co-Vid were incredible and we felt very safe and protected. Above all though- your staff speaks so highly for the resort. You take care of them- and it is seen in the way they take care of guests. They take pride in their jobs, the property, and your company. A few truly stand out employees: Thank you especially to Chris as the pool and kids club entertainment (our kids are still talking about you), Carlos and Juan Carlos as servers (incredible), Efrain as attendant, Franco and Claudia, Felix in the lobby bar, Aracelli in the spa, your AM shuttle driver on 11/18, and to the cleaning staff on the first floor during the week of 11/18-24 (WOW!). My husband and I love Grand Residences and look forward to coming back each year. This will be our third visit and counting. Service is exceptional..you feel special and pampered. You have your own concierge..Guillermo has always been ours as he is wonderful. Golf, activities, dinner reservations etc. they will take care of. The rooms and finishes are five star and every room has an ocean view. Puerto Moreles is a quaint fishing town that offers shops and dining and is conveniently located close to Cancun, Playa Del Carmen, Isla Mujeres, Tulum. So depending on your interest you have access to everything. We have traveled the world as well as extensively in Mexico and you won’t find better run hotels then The Royal Resorts family. Grand residence 2 week in a first floor and a penthouse both with pools

My husband and I went for our 30th anniversary we had a fantastic time the service was impeccable the weather was a little iffy part of it but Franco was a Butler and he was over the top the guys are at the pool Efran - Elico - Gilberto - Joshua - Gustavo was our concierge. Rooms were beautiful and I am handicapped and Franco got me a scooter which helped out awesome. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
GR in a Hurricane

The resort is fantastic. I would highly recommend it. We were there during a hurricane which happens in October and the staff took care of us such that we were not a bit uncomfortable. Moved out of our fantastic beach front unit for about 20 hours. The entire resort was cleaned the next day and they were open for business. Another heavenly stay at GR

We just returned from Grand Residence for a week stay. Last time we were here was last Oct 2019. Due to Covid, GR staff were all wearing a mask and I mean everyone. Little changes were noticeable due to Covid, like the Molton Brown hand soap is now in a automatic dispenser. The cloth hand towel is replaced by a paper towel. The menu is downloadable or paper menu. The regular hard cover menu is sanitize every use as well as the table and chairs. Hopefully once the pandemic is over, the restaurant will be back with the breakfast buffet which we miss. I would like to give a shout out to our favorite concierge Claudia, who is amazing and made reservation for every meal during our stay. She took care of all our requests and airport transfer. She made sure we are always having a great time and zero worries. Since we are owners, I was able to make our 2021 reservation with Montsy. She is so wonderful to work with when it comes to explaining the President Circle and Signature Elite which we both have. She breaks down and explained all the points we have and how to maximize it. We truly appreciate Montsy coming to GR and talking to us in person as she is working remote due to Covid. She is truly a gem. We also had Catherine Duda in Sales explain to us the new benefit of being an owner like the complimentary massages, pedi/mani. We love how they have expanded the benefits to owners. Another reason why we purchase our fraction so we can share this amazing place with family and friends. If you are considering to buy and create memories of this awesome resort, Catherine Duda is the person to ask for. She knows it all, every detail. We are so happy that GR kept the same staff even with only 30% occupancy. Although we purchased AI, tipping extra is always appreciated by the staff. GR staff is like our family and always looking forward to see them each year. This place is truly heaven on earth! See you all in May 2021. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
