Conveniently located, nice amenities.

My kids LOVED the water slide and pool. That alone is worth a lot, haha! But the resort is also very conveniently located close to downtown, and lots of great restaurants. The service was good, as I had a few requests and questions and they were happy to answer and provide help. The main downside was a lack of room service which we would have liked to use after an exhausting day of travel. We did order from the restaurant attached to the resort (The Grande), but we were very disappointed in the food quality and the price. Very pricey for subpar food. Will likely stay there again for the amenities and family friendly environment though! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Room was out-of-date and staff was unfriendly. Was there for our wedding and were unimpressed. The rooms were dirty, you heard every sound, the beds were uncomfortable. Left to stay at Stoneridge Resort. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

We rented one of The Grande Rockies rooms off of VRBO. The room was located at the back of the hotel. It was a 3 bedroom condo that we were all excited to stay in. On our first morning there we were woken up at 6:30am by a loud Semi truck that was delivering linens for the hotel. It was unloading directly beside the bedroom windows. Loud banging and bins being rolled from the truck into the building. Then shortly after the garbage trucks would show up. We called the front desk and complained. As it woke our entire family of 7 (including small children). We were told by the front desk staff and the property manager that this was not supposed to be happening until at least 8am and that they would handle it. The next morning at 6:30am sharp the linen truck pulled back in. This time I decided to ask the driver what was up. He told me that 6:30am was their scheduled delivery time daily. This happened all 3 mornings we stayed there. This room was $420/night. I just feel like if you are paying that for a room, the hotel should have the respect for guests not to have big semi trucks delivering right beside the room at that hour. So, if you are looking to book at this hotel, make sure you aren’t booked in a room in this corner of the hotel. It is loud from the garbage bins also all day. Loud banging and people smoking out the back door. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Icky start but happy ending

Nice hotel right into town. You can easily walk 5-10 mins to several restaurants and shops. Our original booking was in the Annex building which is much older and smaller than the main building. It's very dated but the rooms are renovated and were quite nice. We were pleasantly surprised. This building has most of the basic double rooms with its own parking lot. You do have to visit the main building to check in and use the amenities such as the pool etc. Upon arrival we were very pleased with our room until we went to the bathroom and noticed a big patch of dried blood under the toilet bowl as well as unexplainable reddish/brown stains on the wall. This was enough to gross us out especially given with COVID you'd think there'd be thorough cleaning being done. After bringing it up with the manager and working out a deal, we were promptly upgraded to the penthouse suite for no extra charge! He was very accommodating which was much appreciated and showed wonderful customer service! Our new room was amazing! It was a two storey, 2 bed, 2 baths, full kitchen with all the dishes and supplies you need for cooking, bbq, laundry room, cleaning closet, full dining room table and living room. They provide you with 2 tide pods for laundry however, you will need to bring your own softener or dryer sheets if needed. Perfect for 2 couples or larger families/crowds. Unfortunately it doesn't come with a pull out so you'd have to all fit on 2 king beds or someone would have to sleep on the couch. Unfortunately we weren't planning on cooking so we didn't get to enjoy all that stuff. The hotel grounds also has a firepit area and seating around it. Despite being low on staff, the hotel staff were all really great. They did their best to help out when they could. If you plan on visiting the pool/hot tub, make sure to sign up in advance as it's by appointment only due to COVID. Pool hours is also limited because of this. Another thing to add, the fire alarm went off during our stay due to a glitch in their system and we all had to evacuate the premise. We were warned by the firefighters that it may go off again at any point in time during our stay and that we'd have to evacuate if that was the case. Luckily it did not happen again during our stay. Aside from the little shock upon arrival, our stay was great and we were pleased. We'd definitely come back to this hotel again. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

One night trip left a lot to be desired despite having visited before and having a good experience. Room was not that clean-bathroom and bed sheets. Hotel was not quiet on a Sunday night with upstairs party going until 2am. I won't be back. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
