Great stay once again

Aug 20th, 2019

We went back the grande shores after staying there last year and it didn’t disappoint. Stayed in a pool front efficiency just like last time. My kids love walking out of room straight into a pool. Room is large enough to accommodate our family and love the kitchen which we used for breakfast and lunch. Room was clean and done every day. Staff is always friendly and helpful. The dvd rentals are a great extra which my kids used our entire stay. When coming back to myrtle beach this will be the only place we stay. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Very clean rooms with great ocean front view. Cleaning staff was very thorough, friendly and always asked if we needed anything else. Lots of pool, lazyriver and hot tub options. Very close to shopping and attractions. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

HELLO, 1997 CALLED AND THEY WANT THEIR DECOR BACK

Aug 11th, 2019

Just went to the GRANDE SHORES with the family for my wife's birthday we stayed in a 2 bdrm 2 bathroom suite. it had a full kitchen, dining/living area so i would say this we had a great time PROs - Conveniently located near the beach, out the front of the hotel and a less than 4 minute walk to the beach and located to all the restaurants - bathrooms were spacious and clean - plenty of utensils, plates, cups and glasses -Recieved text to find out what I needed CONS - mattress on the king mattress was lumpy, hard time sleeping -furniture OUT DATED tight tight parking lot Overall, We had a great time. we were located on the 7th floor, and the pool was down the hall, there were plenty of towels available. I was receiving texts from the front desk checking in on my stay, i had a slow bathroom sink, and they sent someone right away to fix it. I'm quite sure if I mentioned the bed , in enough time, they probably would've took care of it I HOPE There were some people at the concierge desk that were offering FREE BUFFETS, but when you listen closer, its people sending you to what sounds like a TIME SHARE PRESENTATION, now, you will have to pay $20 up front, and when you get to the place, it is exactly what it is.....A TIME SHARE PRESENTATION!!!!! ME PERSONALLY, I feel i paid TOO MUCH FOR MY ROOM to do this, however, got some free food and a $120 check. I feel i paid waaaay too much (over $850 for 3 nights/4days) for the value, but we had a great time still TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Parking garage was Horrible

Aug 10th, 2019

Our oceanfront room was very clean. The ocean view from our private balcony was great. The swimming pools and lazy rivers were also nice. We had breakfast buffet at the cafe and it was very good and reasonable priced. There was only one thing that would keep me from ever staying here again and that was the parking. It was horrible. You couldn't get in or out of the parking garage if you were meeting another car going up or down. One of you had to back up before either of you could get by. When you got up to your floor to park the spaces were so small, you could barely open your door. You had to slide out the door to keep from hitting the car parked next to you. The parking experience was very stressful whether it was meeting cars, trying to pack and unpack, or simply getting in or out of the car after you were parked. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
