Very disappointed!

Jul 8th, 2020

So disappointing! We went and spend $ 148 for dining. When we handed the players card over to the waiter, we were told that no more points can be earned for dining, table games etc. , only for slot machines. No more senior Wednesday either! Now I don’t know who sits in the corporate office and what they are thinking but if they think they get any support from us, they are mistaken. There are a lot of places in town to support. Let me just give an example. In the past if you spend $ 100 for dining you earned 1000 points which equals $ 1! Now, if I spend $ 50 at Flemings 3 times I get a $ 40 credit! $ 3 vs. $ 40! I don’t want to promote Flemings but I think Station Casino does NOT need the support of us locals for nothing. I understand they lost money but so did everyone else!!! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Green Valley Ranch Resort

Jun 28th, 2020

Tried this resort for the first time. We always stayed on strip but gambled in GVR. The room was clean and very nice. All of the staff was cordial. The restaurants are nice but several are very expensive. We ate several times at the Grand Cafe and the food was excellent and a good value. A very good assortment of slots and video poker. Christian at the front desk was super in assisting us with a few issues. Only negative I can think of is the TV operation is very cumbersome and there is no guide so you have to click thru every channel. We had a great time and have already made reservations for August. I think we are done with the strip as this visit surpassed out expectations. Thank you GVR TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Not a place to trust.

Jun 27th, 2020

I went to the Green Valley Ranch Resort on Friday June 26th. As I was playing a table game the dealer Brani (who goes by Brian) pulled a stunt that I have seldom seen before and one that I very much dislike. He picked up my chips, palmed them, played with them and eventually returned then to the table near where I had put them. When I asked why this was done, I got nothing but lies and tall tails. I asked the pit supervisor about what was done and their policy relative to the stunt. The pit supervisor, Phillip", first claimed to have seen nothing and that he knew nothing. The dealer then stopped his game to interject into the conversation that I was having with the supervisor. The supervisor then took on the same line of lies the dealer was forwarding and claimed that what was done was company policy and required. At this point it was clear that the staff was going to continue lying so I asked why the policy was not upheld the prior 20 spins of the roulette wheel? I followed by suggesting that the should be written up for failing to adhere to company policy or lying to customers instead of admitting their mistakes. I will not play with lairs and cheats! You can if you wish but places like this that are so focused on taking your money at all costs are not for me! In my opinion, RUN ! Don't walk run from here. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

My 1 year old found glass on the floor in the room

Jun 24th, 2020

The room wasn't santized and my son picked up several pieces of glass off the floor because the room was not serviced. Called the and spoke with the manager & security staff (both white males) and they acted like I was making a big deal from nothing. If my baby cut his mouth or swallowed the glass I would have hired an attorney and gone after them. Very dismissive and rude. It was 10pm when we found the glass but I didn't call the front desk until the next morning and Mike the "head" security gurad used that as the reason to say I was lying. The room was substandard, old, in need of basic repair, and was NOT serviced the whole time we were there. I asked to have please have some one vacuum the room again incase there was more glass but no one ever came. Not worth staying here. James the hotel manager seemed prejudice and I found his tone and lack of concern for our child a huge issue. If you're okay with your baby playing with glass and don't mind a rude management team and "head" security officer then stay here! Zero level of service and NOT up to Vega standards. I checked into the hotel on Friday the 19th for a two-day stay. They have seals on the door that state clean and sanitized once you enter the room the seal breaks. I entered my room too fine not just was it not sanitized but it wasn't clean. There were sticky candy light surfaces on the glass nightstand. There was ketchup on the desk actual ketchup stuck to the desk. When I went into the bathroom barefoot hair in debris stuck to my feet. I called the front desk to ask to speak to a manager where the phone just rang and went to a voicemail. I called back and the front desk guy inform me he would send a housekeeping supervisor up. So when the mail supervisor comes to my room he is equally as disgusted as I was. They send someone up who did a great job cleaning the room afterwards. This is not my first time staying there as I have more than 500 stays there. However this is my third time being disgusted at my choice. We already have to deal with the lack of the extras such as pen and pad, extra roll of toilet paper, and no mini bar, but please clean the rooms correctly. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
