Room rates and dining pricey here
Flanking Hamilton's harbor, the Hamilton Princess Hotel & Beach Club combines Old World charm with modern touches. Guest rooms feature island-inspired decor with colorful printed accents, wooden furniture and Keurig coffee makers. Some accommodations also include a balcony or terrace. By day, you can unwind at one of the two outdoor heated pools. Or, for a bit more adventure, take advantage of the water sports and boat rentals located at the property's marina. Those traveling with children can take advantage of the per hour babysitting as well as toys, goggles and other pool amenities for kids. When it's time for a meal, the property offers four restaurant options ranging from casual to upscale. Though recent guests give the property's optimal location – just steps from Hamilton's versatile shops, restaurants and beaches – high marks, they note that room rates and on-site dining options are pricey.

Critic Reviews

On the edge of downtown overlooking the harbor, this hotel has an illustrious past.

The rates are high when compared with beachfront resorts geared toward leisure travelers, however; it would appear that business travelers have crowned the Princess their home base, and the hotel has raised its rates accordingly.

The reigning royalty of Bermuda lodging, the Princess boasts some of the most comfortable rooms on the island and caters to its mainly business guests like no one else.

When this luxury hotel first opened its doors in 1885, it was dubbed the 'Pink Palace' … More than 128 years later, the hotel is now one of Bermuda's most recognizable landmarks — one that's frequented by business travelers and tourists alike.
