Spring Training 2020

My third time to stay at this location. Rooms appear to be recently renovated. My room was clean,quiet, and comfortable. Bedside lamps are not conducive to reading in bed as they are not adjustable and too far from bed for reading. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Very clean with amazing staff!

We stayed during Spring Training 2020. Our room was clean, bed was comfortable, breakfast was delicious, and the staff was super friendly. They also have an outdoor pool & hot tub. Walking distance to the beach & many restaurants. We loved it here! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

As expected Hampton inn team performed well. Clean rooms and facilities, polite and helpful stuff made my visit pleasant. Walking distance to beach and easy access to the hotel completed my pleasant experience. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Wildly expensive for a run-down hotel!

Noisy air conditioner, noisy refrigerator, slamming doors from worn-out springs, and bright light bleeding around the "black-out" shade, made it impossible to sleep! Squishy tub floor from poor remodel made it tough to balance while showering. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Steer clear of the free breakfast! NOT a good idea.

I stayed at this location this past weekend to visit some relatives for a family gathering. I found very little to be impressed with. The bed and pillows were very nice. The room was nice and clean. SPOTLESS actually. The pressure in the shower was very weak. The pressure would never go full throttle to the shower head. I could pee harder than that.The other half of the water was still coming out of the lower faucet. The water got very warm, but it wasn't hot. My wife and I went to get breakfast in the morning, there was no breakfast meat in the steam table. I brought it to the attention of the front desk, they resolved the matter quickly. HOWEVER, the breakfast sausage was wrinkly and looked unfresh like it sat in a steam box for a while. The eggs were certainly powdered eggs and very nasty. I went to load up the car @ 11:00 A.M. (checkout time was noon). I was able to go out the back door to load the car, but I was LOCKED OUT of the back of the building to be able to go back in ti retrieve the rest of our belongings. My rook key would no longer grant me access at 1 hour before check out. I had to call my wife to let me back in the building so I didn't have to walk around to the front of the building to get to the room again. At check out time, the girl at the front desk could not have cared any less. She didn't have a name tag that I could see. See did however have a tattoo of a treasure chest on her arm. She never asked how our stay was. I was kinda waiting for her to ask. It didn't happen. So I proceeded to tell her ONE of the things I wasn't happy with and all she did was say that she was sorry as she handed my wife and I our receipt for our stay. She didn't bother taking the time to listen to the rest of our dis satisfactions. I write a good number of reviews here on Trip Advisor. I always try to give a business the opportunity to make things right before I write a review if I was unhappy with something. It truly pains me to write a bad review. Hampton Inns are usually a nice place to stay. This is the first time I have had unkind words to say about a Hampton Inn. I will still stay at a Hampton Inn if I ever need again. I would be hard pressed to ever want to stay at this particular one again. The service was really poor. The front desk cared nothing about listening or making things right. So here's your review. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
