Very Convenient

Stayed here on a road trip. Great location next to I-40 highway. Room was very clean and quiet. Breakfast provided in a box. Front desk staff very helpful. Good value for money. Overall, recommended for travellers. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Nice hotel, experience could’ve been better

Dec 22nd, 2020

Was here for an overnight stay with my family on my recent cross country road trip. The property itself was nice but the rooms are tight and things old. Need some refurbishment. And right after we slept, around midnight there was a family which checked in to the room right next to us waking us all up with all their ruckus and a loud and crying baby. The hotel was almost empty but the overnight staff chose to give this adjacent room which ruined our sleep. I explained the whole thing to the morning staff and the old gentleman Joe immediately took the whole charge for the room off. Thanks Joe! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Front Desk and General Manager Untruthful

Dec 6th, 2020

Room thermostat was inoperable. Called front desk and asked for a fan. Was told there were none. Some time later and with increased discomfort, called front desk again. Night front desk promptly provided a fan. First called staff apparently lied about no fans. Next morning, I spoke with front desk employee, who identified himself as the front desk manager when I asked for the general manager. I noticed his name, Joe Gallegos, was the same as the name on a business card listed as general manager. When confronted with the business card, he would not admit to being the general manager. He was confrontational and very un pleasant. His was the second employee who was untruthful to me. I will avoid renting a room from this hotel as long as Gallegos remains there. As a Hilton Honors Diamond member, I have never been lied to and treated this way. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

We always use digital key since Covid. We have been staying at all Hampton Inns because of this safety feature. My phone worked on the room door but not the entrance door. I book a room near an outside door so that I do not have to have contact with anyone at the desk (or other customers at the desk). That only happens if the keyless entry works on the outside door. Also, I went to take a shower at 7 pm. NO HOT WATER. What?? I have never had that happen at a hotel even in the morning which I would think is prime shower time. I waited over an hour to get hot water. I will say that the lady at the front desk was very polite when I called twice to complain. The plus was that the beds were comfortable. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Front desk employee not wearing a mask.

Oct 25th, 2020

The room is clean and comfortable. The boxed breakfast is pretty bad, gluten free bagel. My biggest concern is that one of the employees at the front desk is never wearing a mask. Guests were pretty compliant, but it makes me wonder how seriously they are taking covid safe practices in general. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
