Not Up to Hilton CleanStay Standards & in SERIOUS Need of Deep-Cleaning & Updating of Bathrooms! Disgusting!

The guestrooms are in great need of deep-cleaning and updating. They are not up to Hilton standards at all. Also, I can tell that the Hilton CleanStay standards are not being implemented. The bathrooms are DISGUSTING. The rooms are definitely NOT clean. The first room I was assigned was filthy, especially the bathroom. As was the second guestroom. The elevators, hallways and overall hotel, is not clean. Supposedly the property was renovated a year ago. I couldn't tell at all. I checked out of the hotel within 15 minutes of arrival. I had to drive around for another hour in the middle of the night to find another hotel. I’ll be reaching out to Commonwealth Hotels and Hilton National Sales about the state of their property. I wouldn't recommend their hotels being that they are not up to standard. The most disappointing part of all is that this hotel is not even 2 miles from their headquarters in Northern Kentucky!!! Disappointing to say the least. Also, being that I've worked in the industry for close to 20 years, and procure hotels and meeting space for a living, I know what to expect. This is NOT acceptable! This was a nice property and the staff was very friendly. The hotel itself was average. The room was very compact (best way to describe it). Good for a one night stay but not necessarily for an extended stay or family stay. That served our purpose though. Room was clean. Rated very good mainly for the friendly staff. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Just an overnight stop, but not good. So many things wrong with the room and service, it was bad. The room had so many repairs things that were not fixed, doors would not close, sink was actually busted.. a hole in the bottom and cracked all around. The service was not good. They advertise their breakfast everywhere, and I understand the pandemic, but every other hotel we stayed in offered a pick up, breakfast in a bag, etc. but this one did not mention anything or even an I'm sorry we don't do it. Nor did they compensate for not doing it. On top of it all, in all the hundreds of Hampton's that I have stayed in, this was some new type of room design advertised as a suite. Worse layout and room design I have ever seen. This trip was a week with a different hotel every night and this one was the worse by far. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

The mattress was very worn on one side, so much so that I slept unlevel all night. Loud, squeaky bed. Was near elevator, and that was loud. Small room. Pool closed early. Could not use it. Breakfast was a joke. Had to wait for front desk clerk to help two other people (one with a billing issue from a 3rd party booking site), put on gloves, get out cups, answer the phone with the gloves on, then go back to preparing our coffee with gloves that had just touched the phone. The “breakfast” was a Jimmy Dean’s sandwich we had to warm up ourselves in a public microwave that was just used by someone coughing. Needless to say, we went out for breakfast. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Excellent Stay! Good location, quiet, clean and comfortable! Breakfast was very good with a great selection. Room clean, comfortable and quiet! Super front desk! Easy parking for handicapped! Very safe environment! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
