Great place! Staff were wonderful. Room very clean. Gulf view with balcony was beautiful Close to beach and their pool was very nice. Only two stories - I loved that it was smaller and not a hotel with many floors. Very cozy & quaint. I felt I was at my own private condo. Very quiet in the room and on the beach. Continental breakfast was excellent. Better than many. Bagels, Otis Spunkmeyer Muffins, fresh fruit, JIF peanut butter to spread on bagels, nice cereal variety. Very good. Can't wait to go back! Girls trip with my daughters

Just checked out of this hotel yesterday and everything was great! I took my 9 and 6 year old daughters for a 3 night getaway and it very clean and relaxing. My husband and I are both in the hotel business and I was eager to get back traveling and support the hospitality industry. Because we both hear the complaints from guests traveling during Covid of how the hotels are limited with their offerings I was understanding of their restrictions/capabilities. Everything felt safe and all staff was masked up. They still gave exceptional service, were quick to provide needed items like extra towels, coffee, etc. Breakfast was scaled back due to limitations but my girls still got full on the boiled eggs, cereal, juice, yogurt, muffins and bagels they offered. Our view was exceptional and it was a nice treat to be upgraded to an ocean view room. The beach and pool area were pristine and even though there was a group of college kids in; we had zero issues with noise. Thank you for making our mommy-daughter trip memorable! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
No refunds or change of date for people with potential Covid symptoms

Booked this property as part of a larger road trip but when one of our party started to show signs that could be related to covid, the hotel refused to cancel room or offer alternative dates to use the credit, instead insisting on charging the card and demanding a covid test. It is very disappointing that the hotel did not want to issue a refund or move the dates and of course even worse that they would rather have someone there who is coughing non stop and possibly infecting others? Why would they take the risk? The trip was booked through Experian who phoned the hotel and spoke to the manager. They were great but the hotel manager was happy for our party to arrive!? It makes no sense whatsoever? I would encourage you all to put safety first unlike this hotel and call another in the area. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

This was our first venturing out since COVID began. We were looking for a beachfront hotel that was reasonably priced. There are several in this vicinity. We chose Hampton Inn as it is a reliable brand in our previous experience. However, we were disappointed this time! The hotel is worn and was not convincingly clean. We found hair in the bathroom and a raisin on the rug even AFTER we asked the room to be vacuumed again (they missed it twice!). In these COVID times you'd think they would be a little more meticulous. The elevators were smudged and floors dirty. Hand sanitizer stations near main elevators were out. The customer service during COVID is dismal. Not a good time to stay in a hotel as you are unable to receive any services. (Hands tied due to COVID rules???) They are great about looking the other way when folks don't wear masks as required but when it comes to servicing your room, you are completely on your own. It's self serve for your entire stay. No real breakfast either of course, just a pretty lame bag with microwave oatmeal package and no milk (how does that work?) yogurt, granola bar, water. Oh yes, you can get a prepackaged oreo size sausage and biscuit. In the whole thing, the water was the best item by far. Front desk is cordial but not exceptional and you get different answers (and service) depending on who is on the shift. A bit uneven in their policies that way. It is on the beach and the beach is nice, but most rooms have only a view of the parking lot. You have to pay more for the few rooms facing the ocean. We saw lots of other hotel properties that face the beach in the similar price range to what we paid, so we will be trying someone else next time and probably won't be staying at any HI again as this experience has shown us that they aren't as reliable as they used to be and definitely pricey for what you get. Very impressed!!! Room was super clean, which in time just made feel relax. The staff is great make feel right at home. The breakfast was fruits, pre packaged items. A nice short walk to the beach. I'll definitely stay here again. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
