Hampton Inn Jacksonville Beach/Oceanfront

Great Experience!

The room was spacious and clean! The bed was very comfortable, a big TV and the bathroom was nice, the shower head was brand new! I thought the air conditioner was broken and I called down to front desk and then a engineer came up right away!! They offer late check out too! The decor is amazing! Just love Love LOVE! We stayed for Christmas weekend in a ocean view room. Beautiful views. Staff was great Steve at the front desk made is feel very welcomed and like at home. That staff was very helpful and positive. The Room is an average room nothing too special updated but shows some wear. The restaurant was good we are there the first night. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER 

Nice ocean front view but could not enjoy it!

When I stay at the beach I want to be ON the ocean so I reserved an oceanfront room. I enjoy sitting on the balcony and listening to the ocean. However, EVERY TIME I tried to do so at this hotel we got a smoker that just had to light up. I don’t know if there are some smoking rooms or what but it totally ruined our time at this hotel. In addition, there was barely any hot water for the shower in the mornings. The breakfast was OK but the eggs were horrible. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

My trip was for the loss of my oldest friend. I cannot imagine coming to stay for vacation. This beautiful place has been littered with stickers and masking tape, it's quite tacky. At least offer hula hoops for us to stand in like we did in kindergarten now that we have to be told where to stand as adults. The most amazing part was watching the long line to get breakfast from a window where you have to be served your food instead of helping yourself to the breakfast buffet like you may remember. In this window everyone gets funneled to order over the napkins, etc. All these efforts seem to be ensuring the spread of germs. Are we serious about this thing or not? The employees here are not given the freedom to choose for themselves whether or not they want to participate in the mask virtue signaling game. Look elsewhere for a relaxing stay. Say no to the covidiots trying to abuse their powers, and don't wear a mask. Thank you. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER 

Beautiful Views

The hotel is well appointed, the staff was wonderful and helped me with all my questions. There was a well lit parking area and a large breakfast. I had a balcony and the view was beautiful. I have nothing negative to say. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
