Decent Hotel, no safe and no bar

It was a real disappointment to arrive after a long flight and not have somewhere to have a quiet beer. It meant I had to drop off my gear, and then try and find something in a fairly sketchy neighbourhood. In the end, I ended up going to bed with no food or nothing to drink. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

The staff was genuinely interested in the well being of our family. We had a family member hospitalized and the staff ensured that our room was clean to standard. Truly enjoyed our stay and the friendly staff here at the Carson Hampton. Breakfast is also great! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
This hotel attempted credit card fraud!

This hotel attempted credit card fraud! I give this a 1 star because this is the lowest score I could post. Traveling for work, so I faxed in a credit card auth form so the room could be charged to my company card for my employees. Turns out, I ended up traveling with them. Travel date was for 2/29/20. Today, 2/29/20, I received an email indicating they charged my card for 2/28/20 because I had not checked in and that I need to contact them by 5:00 pm to keep my room. I called and spoke with the receptionist, Jessica, to have my card credited for the incorrect dates. She stated that I emailed and faxed in a change or arrival. She must not realize that the internet is FOREVER! The email communication I sent was a request to add a name to my reservation and request a Credit Card Authorization form. I have attached a side-by-side of the CC Auth form that I sent (blue ink on the left) and the hotels copy. Clearly someone at the hotel changed the date from 2/29 to 2/28 on the faxed form. Additionally, Henry, the manager offered no apology and seemed more concerned about the fact that I stated Jessica called me a liar. He indicated that he went back and listened to the recording of my original call with Jessica and stated that Jessica did not actually use the words that I was a liar. Apparently, when she told me I sent an email, that I didn't and when she told me I faxed in a request, which I didn't, is not, is not calling me a liar. It was just dumb luck that I had the original documents with me to show to the hotel manager at check in. This and the lack of professionalism of the front desk staff and manager has me rethinking the hotel brand. I have contacted Hilton customer service about the fraud attempt. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
convenient location; housekeeping 3 separate visits

not sure if it is only this location but it was strange to have 3 separate housekeeping visits which disturbs guests all day - 1 for removing bedding, 1 for cleaning bathroom, 1 for making bed. Couldn't nap in our room as the bed was not made and multiple visits to disturb. Can't they do it the old fashioned way with 1 visit to fix up the room? Breakfast was good with pressed juices, hot sausage, eggs, waffles, oatmeal. convenient location to freeway. Standard Hampton Inn amenities. outdoor pool w hot tub. pay washing machines available. My family and me had a great time staying here, we really enjoyed everything from the breakfast to the location it was only 5 min from in and out haha but the breakfast was great as well thank you so much for everything TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
