Best experience

I travel a lot but this place was amazing. Jody Thompson started our check in right off and was very friendly and helpful. She resolved my issue right away. Gloria housekeeper answered all my questions promptly and accurately and was the sweetest women ever. Guest were friendly, even made a couple friends her at the hot rod nationals. Even the manager of the hotel across the parking lot and introduced himself. Room was spotless and this is the best out of state stay I have experienced. Keep up the good work guys! Jason at front desk is the man!

Had issue with other hotel in area, so called this hotel at 1:30am- spoke with Jason who was able to address all of my concerns and even found a spot for me to come in for a 2am check-in if needed. You can tell a lot about a hotel just by the staff's demeanor and caring and Jason and the Downtown Hampton Inn are 5 stars all the way in my book. Great choice, great price, cheaper parking than other hotels in area. Win-Win. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Poor Service

Two weeks ago we stayed here and when we left we forgot our beach bag. I called and was told I had to talk to housekeeping they took my number and I was told they would have them call me. Couple of days go by no call I call again this time I got someone and they had it . They took my address and said they would ship it an call me with the tracking number. A week goes by no call no beach bag I call again and was told they did not have my address which of course is you know what. I gave it to them again and was told I would get a call the next day with a tracking number . Guess what no call. I had a reservation for 4 nites starting today which I have now cancelled . When I arrived in town I went by the hotel and guess what they never shipped the bag to me . I picked it up and left the property .Your hotel lost out on a 4 nite reservation because your employees did not do what they said they would do. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

This was the best hotel, the girl who checked us in was so helpful and accommodating, gave multiple suggestions on places to eat and drink. The guy who worked at night was so friendly, we had a blast talking with him! We highly recommend this hotel! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Convenient to the Downtown area

Attending a summit in the downtown area and this was a convenient location and met the government per diem rate. Expected a quality stay from the Hilton brand. I got a nice large room but the TVs in the front room and bedroom didn't work. The moved me to another room, same problem. Moved me to a third room where everything worked. The staff worked to make sure I was satisfied with my room. Spacious, clean room. They serve a nice breakfast in the morning with plenty of seating. You will be charged for parking your car here. There is a work-out room and large pool. The only real issue was the billing. Of the 3 of us staying there 2 of us had problems with our bills. Being a Hilton rewards member got me 2 bottles of water. Keep in mind, you are downtown with a nearby hospital, so there is a fair bit of constant noise. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
