Nice place, good location. Be wary of online booking sites and Sono54 site that fail to accurately describe all charges. We were charged additional 45/night parking and an additional 30/night “facility fee” TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

False Advertising

This place has so much potential as it’s in a good location between Soho and Tribeca. The photos they use to market the property look NOTHING like the hotel. Don’t be fooled. They’ve been promising renovations for months now after reading the reviews and the property really needs one. The room was tired and scabby. Carpet is old worn and gross and all the fixings are coming off the walls. The wallpaper is mouldy and peeling, the shower mouldy and needs to be re caulked. The entire decor and furniture is from the 90s. There is also no bar / restaurant like they advertise and the “rooftop” is just that a rooftop with aircon units and some wicker chairs from the 70s. Only thing that saved us was the view. It was magic. Staff were pleasant but nothing special. We also had smokers on our floor a few nights during our stay and nothing was done. Not good for asthmatics. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. Disappointing when you’ve traveled from the other side of the world to visit New York. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Lifetime view!

Overlooking that famous NY's skyscrapers' line - all of them together! - is a fantasy of many, and although I don't belong to that group, I was even more surprised and astonished by seeing them together from our 18th floor room. Empire, Chrysler, MetLife, Rockefeller... all of them at glance! We were not aware of that in advance and simply booked this place because of its location, just between SoHo and Tribeca, good score and exceptional price (although in February). Being there, we notified some shortcomings, yet overall impression is highly positive. We got even more than expected and fully enjoyed this comfortable, affordable and decent stay + unique opportunity to observe New York's skyline. Additionally, if you also appreciate contemporary architecture, you may visually explore adjacent Renzo Piano's condo building which is literally just a few meters away! The room was truly spacious, especially for the NY standards, and although they don't have a kitchen neither breakfast offer, you may find complimentary hot and cold drinks, with magnificent hot apple cider which we enjoyed each morning. Highly recommendable and be back for sure if we drop by to that side! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Clean, quiet, great location.

The room was basic but had everything I needed: comfortable bed, clean bathroom with all the amenities, a safe. Great location within walking distance of Soho, TriBeCa, Greenwich Village, Little Italy. The workout room and coffee/hot cider in the lobby were an added bonus. Very friendly and helpful staff. As a solo woman traveler I was very happy to have found this hotel. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Good location

Nice hotel located in Soho with walking distance to many Manhattan attractions. Clean and quiet, friendly staff. Room was spacious with desk, flat TV, and chair. Overall the hotels rooms are dated but not to the point of disturbing my stay. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
