Good location, but that’s about it!

The location is great, but unfortunately that’s about it. Room had very musty smell and was pretty dated. Bed pillows were flat like pancakes, towels were rough to the touch and the digital app functions do not work at this location including the digital room key. We had a leaking bathtub the entire stay, no daily housekeeping or an airport shuttle although the website indicates otherwise. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great Covid Hotel

Stayed 10-28/31 Great location & Staff. Adam and Chris were so nice, friendly and accommodating same with all of the ladies at the front desk. They treat you right and are very Covid ready, hand sanitizer stations lobby and elevators, also front door is kept locked to keep non guests from just popping in, love that they are doing that. Right across the street from the water park and the Pier Point complex Brigantine and Ketch and Miguel's restaurants with some of the best views in SD. Close to Seaport Village as well. Thanks for a safe Covid Stay ! As a Hilton Diamond member I recommend this HI as a great property close to downtown, bay and all the city has to offer. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great Location, great staff and clean, comfortable room with view

I was very pleased with this hotel. Super clean rooms and very comfortable. There is parking in same building so very convenient ($30 a night). The location is excellent - little Italy full of cafe's and restaurants is only 5 minutes away. Also water is just across the street - so you can take stroll and watch the boats at sunset or have dinner at some of the lovely restaurants there. This hotel is 10 minutes from the airport - so extremely convenient - however I did not hear the airplanes at night. There is a train near by - and I did hear that a few times, but nothing bad. I would definitely stay here again. Great value for this downtown location. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

First and foremost this hotel states that they have a shuttle from the airport. They do not. They claim it is because of the virus but other Hilton properties have this service even during the virus.The rooms are clean and nice and are good value. Desk personnel do not seem very professional and are clueless in many ways. No breakfast just a bag with water and a breakfast bar. I would give this hotel a 6 out of 10.Plan to own transportation from the airport. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Horrible experience

I am currently writing this review because of the fact that neither my wife and I cannot sleep. Both of us had surgery yesterday morning and paid for a suite in advance, being placed right next to a pool area next door. Pool area was kept open (plenty of audible noise and swimming) to nearly 11 pm despite the fact that the outdoor sign stated closing at 8 pm. Chris (claiming to be management but listed under another name on the board) was no help whatsoever. The room directly above us had children constantly running around in their room. We spoke to guests upstairs, where they stated they would control their children. Chris only claimed he heard no noise at the time, unclear if he even investigated or spoke to anyone. I called non-emergency police to deal with this matter, to no avail. A smaller room was only offered to us on the top floor by Chris earlier, but was not going to be reimbursed for a suite that was originally paid for. Security showed up at nearly 11pm to deal with situation at the pool. Over $180.00 for THIS? I've spent less for a room and never had to deal with such garbage. What a way to treat first responders. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE THAT WILL NOT BE FORGOTTEN. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
