Mostly Good Room & Property

This hotel is conveniently located in downtown close to attractions. My check-in was slow was the person checking me in did not ask if I needed parking. Then she had to void my check-in and start over and she couldn't figure out how to do it. The room was nice. There was adequate space for all our things. The air conditioner was noisy. Also the air conditioner filters & the bathroom exhaust fan grate were dirty and needed to be cleaned. The room had been previously sanitized for COVID-19. A seal was but on the door to show future occupants that the room had been adequately cleaned. The breakfast was good. A number of options were provided including muffins, granola bars, yogurt, cereal, & orange juice. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Location!

Hubby and I stayed here 2 nights. Price was already at a premium for the holiday but in addition they were only offering valet parking instead of self parking which was a huge increase with all the additional fees tacked on. Other than the parking fee, the hotel was fine. We were in room 244. There was no housekeeping during your stay so if anything is needed you ask the front desk. The room had 2 queen beds. One bed looked to have been made with a size too small sheets as mattress cover and fitted sheet immediately came undone along the edges. Breakfast was okay...instant oatmeal packets, cold cereal, yogurt, orange juice, granola bars, and pre-packaged coffee cake. Checkout was less than quick. Only one person at desk who also did double duty getting the cars out of the garage until the valets showed up at 7am. We weren’t able to get a cart so we had to make multiple trips from our room which was at the far end of the hotel to the lobby. This hotel has an ideal location for walking downtown. Only a few minute walk to all the sights, restaurants and bars. FYI...mask are mandatory inside hotel and also outside if you can’t social distance. Police were stopping people without masks on Broadway in the evening. We would stay here again if it wasn’t for the high parking fee. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Not up to the task

You’d think COVID would give a hotel a chance to clean & update. Not here. Carpets are dirty, hallways aren’t vacuumed, there are trash bags in the elevator vestibule all day, light bulbs not replaced. Only decaf coffee in the room. (!!) When notified, only excuses given, no offers of making things right. Note: parking is self park, but it’s not included & it’s $40. Really not up to Hampton standards, especially in COVID times. 2 Stays this summer at this property- Excellent both times!

This review is based on 2 stays, one in June and one in August. Both times I enjoyed my stay at this super convenient hotel. In June there weren't many people staying there due to COVID and downtown was pretty dead. In August it was much busier. Nonetheless I felt safe during both stays due to all the COVID precautions the hotel has taken. The staff was enforcing face covering and social distancing. Both rooms were nice and clean upon check-in. I love the App Check-in Process and the Digital Key!!! I had no issues on my stay in June. In August I had a billing issue, and the front desk agent took care of me. He was very helpful and even removed some charges that I was unaware of due to a miscommunication on my part. For this generosity, I give this hotel 5 Stars and will definitely stay at this Hampton Inn again during my next trip to Nashville. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Beautiful Property!

Very nice property, fair price for a hotel in a large city, mandatory valet (parking is 39 bucks!! you are downtown) Lovely staff and easy check in. Close to all the fun and historical country music sites. Weekends are extremely rowdy in downtown Nashville, music is everywhere, so if you are in search of somewhere quiet, move further away from town, as you will hear cars revving up and down the street and some music from blocks away. Majority of crowd wearing masks which was great to see. The rooms are very nice, sanitized and keep with social distancing guidelines from the CDC. Lots of revelers on our trip shouting up and down the hallway and slamming the door of the complimentary ice room. again you are downtown and this is to be expected. Front desk/valet very nice and helpful, easy to navigate your way around the hotel and area. Definitely recommend property for a group get together or party atmosphere, don't stay here to sleep! Would stay again when we have more time! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
