Valentine's weekend

Checked into room 415 on the 13th and checked out the 15th. Room was good but housekeeping sucked. Had a do not disturb sign until 12pm then took it off and left for the whole day until almost midnight. Came back to a dirty room. No bed made, clean towels or trash thrown out. They need to step it up. Im an employee of another Hilton property and this left a bad impression. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Shower didn't work at all. You'd think housekeeping would have noticed?

I was perplexed. Got room because suergery scheduled at 630am. Discovered shower didn't work. Trying to avoid 1hr drive to med center was supposed to be calming.. instead I was stressed and my blood pressure was a tad high. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

San Antonio Stay

Parts of the hotel was out dated and needed to be upgraded. Overall it was a very nice stay. Staff was great and breakfast was good. Heard walking in room above mine, but it didn't keep me awake. Hallway carpets need to be replaced. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Bed bugs!

Upon checking in, first we walked into our room finding an opened Pepsi with the lid setting beside it on the desk. We notified the front desk but agreed to overlook as it appeared that the room was cleaned Otherwise upon first glance. There was not any of the typical honors refreshments in the room or provided at the front desk. I proceeded to look out the window, as is a typical habit of mine to check out the view, and noticed two bed bugs crawling on the curtain in the middle of the day. I have severe anxiety about bed bugs, and had an unfortunate encounter years ago with them that created some of the worst times of my life. We proceeded to the front desk to alert them, and they didn’t seem surprised to be honest. My husband offered to send them the pictures he had taken on his phone, but they declined. They offered moving us to another room, and my husband escorted the front desk clerk to check out the room. He felt it was okay; but, I did not feel confident that we could trust the situation, so we decided to leave in search of a cleaner hotel experience. We were promised that the amount would be reversed on my card the next day when the manager could take care of the transaction. After much searching we ended up at a Tru by Hilton property for the night. The next day my husband called the property to be told by the manager that they didn’t see anything in the room. He explained that we found them on the curtains, which to my knowledge is very rare and normally only seen in a badly infested situation, so they said they would look again, and provided an email address to send the pictures. The manager said the room was marked out if service and pest control would be called to treat the room. Well, a standard pest control treatment will not ensure the problem is resolved either, so I really hope they take it more seriously than they seemed to. This is now two days later, and the amount is still pending on my credit card. Thank goodness that I had some extra money to cover a different hotel. This was one of the worst experiences I have had in a hotel, and as a previous general manager at a few different hotels, I am severely disappointed to see the lack of compassion or concern for this situation. I will NOT be back and will be telling anyone I know to steer clear of this property. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Good Experience

Good experience. From arrival to departure everything was very enjoyable. Breakfast was well rounded to met and satisfied all guests. Close to our location and Honors Program made it very affordable to all. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
