Just Okay...

This was an okay stay. Location was convenient as it was right off of I-10, an easy drive away from downtown Tucson and the surrounding attractions like Sagurao National Park. The hotel is kind of in a sketchy area with a gas station next to the hotel and a restaurant and motel next door. There were a few homeless people just roaming around the outside of the hotel which makes the hotel kind of sketchy at night. Rooms were pretty standard with nothing super amazing but had the basic essentials. The elevator was kind of old and noisy when trying to get up to our room on the 5th floor. Hotel breakfast during COVID-19 was definitely different - options were oatmeal, a frozen burrito, bagel, and hard boiled egg. Coffee was also an option and orange juice. Definitely a disappointing breakfast but can’t say much because of my stay during the pandemic. Staff was nice and friendly. Overall, not a bad stay as it was just okay. Wouldn’t mind having to stay here as I’m loyal to Hyatt but I would have the option to look elsewhere if I wasn’t tied down to a hotel loyalty program. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Hyatt Tucson

Not a typical Hyatt hotel experience. Service was nonchalant , Covid standards were not up to par, rooms were dirty, toilet was leaking. There was a notice hanging on the wall in the rooms about Covid services being offered by the hotel is stated that a grab and go breakfast would be available each morning. Not so much never saw one. Was a perfect Stay

This is a very good hotel i would always recommend this place to anyone who wants a good price or a clean environment as also want a safe and comfortable environment to stay at im very impressed on how they treat you and check you in the room and also have the luxury rooms with fast internet and are able to stream to there Smart Tvs.... Overall its always a pleasant experience to stay at... TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great room but try to get a room on the opposite side of the freeway.

The room was spacious and very nice but the noise from the freeway was very loud. Due to covid I don't think we could have changed rooms after checking in but in the future I will request a room on the opposite side not facing the Interstate. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Morning manager is horrible.

Booked at this hotel as it is pet friendly. Presented dogs upon checkin and paid the fee. In the morning, as my daughter was taking out our dog to relieve himself, morning manager said to my daughter “you know you need to pay a pet fee right?”. Not a “Good morning.”, not a “How has your stay been?”. (Which is all that should have come out of her mouth.) Just a straight up accusation questioning her father’s integrity. I confronted the manager and got a half assed apology as I said, if she had a question, talk to me or my wife, not my minor aged daughter. Ruined staying at a Hyatt property for me. Should have just booked at the Marriott. Never had a problem there. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
