Our experience at this hotel was wonderful from start to finish. Everything was comfortable, clean, and easy. The pool is a good size and the hot tub was small but very clean. Our room was roomy and well-equipped, bed was comfy, breakfast was much better than expected during this time of COVID. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Liv was our cheerful morning person. Parking is easy and well lit. The location is near lots of retail, service, and eateries. Our departure to I84 was not good. We left at 7:45 am and wished we had left an hour earlier. We had a hard time checking in but that was a Hotels.com issue. Front desk person was very kind. I asked if she did have an available room cause our reservation didn't come through. She stated yes. I failed to ask WHERE is was. We were put in the LAST room on the second floor. My husband and I are older and have leg and feet issues. Yes, when we got there we could have asked to be moved, but we were tired and after a 30 minute check in, we just didn't think. We ended up using the back stairs to come and go cause the elevator was so far away and our car was even farther. I did complain on their direct site, they offered to move us. Had the price not been about as cheap as you can get for this level of hotel, I would not recommend. Room very clean, bed was a little hard but, I like soft. Direct TV sucks! WiFi is NOT SECURE. Not even a password. Rooms face back of Target but, we had a tree outside window, which is another reason we stayed in that room. Breakfast is a to go bag, fine for road travel. Pool was open but we didn't use. Went to river instead. Place is centrally located to places we wanted to visit. Some good restaurants just around block. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

My partner and I are often up here for business, we usually stay at a different hotel but decided to try the Hampton. The staff is rather rude and our room wasn’t cleaned well. The gym could use some cleaning as well. The hotel is in a convenient location, but I don’t think we’ll stay here again. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Ignored Hilton COVID-19 Promises

We had to travel to help out a family member with diabetes and stage five kidney failure prepare for a kidney transplant. We are hyper careful about following all COVID-19 precautions before spending time with her. We chose to stay at Hilton properties during our travels due to their COVID-19 practices and procedures. Apparently, this Hampton Inn has chosen to ignore everything Hilton promises. Lobby: This is an older hotel that doesn't accommodate digital keys so I had to check in in at the lobby. No one at the desk. I had to use a house phone to call for help. She was friendly, but when I saw that not one of the many guests going through the lobby was wearing a mask, I realized there wasn't a single sign anywhere indicating masks were required. When I asked her if masks were required inside, her response was "No, don't worry about it.". I kept mine on! Pool: When I walked past the indoor pool, there were several guests inside. Aren't they supposed to be closed? I wasn't planning on using the pool, but it was just another indication that it was business as usual. Guest Room: No seal on the doors indicating the intensive cleaning. No signage in the room outlining the additional cleaning. Breakfast Buffet: the ONLY indication that they were aware of COVID-19 was that the buffet was closed and they offered breakfast bags. Room 350 - unrelated to COVID-19 - Guest room smelled of stale cigarette smoke and room freshener. - Great view of the back of the Target building and nothing else. - EXTREMELY loud traffic noise due to the location of a corner on highway 93. If this property prides itself as being an "oasis from COVID precautions" because it thinks the rest of the planet is being ridiculous, it should be noted on their website. We would have driven another two hours to find a better hotel in Boise had we known this property would be such a frustrating disappointment. We will never stay here again - COVID-19 or not. The hotel was very accommodating when I changed my reservations from one week to the next and the price was even lower. They offered online check-in and I was able to select which room I wanted. Everything was ready at check-in, no hassles. The room was very nice, clean and quiet as well as conveniently located to stores, restaurants, and activities. Breakfast was great, they offered a grab and go bag with water, danish, breakfast bar and yogurt. Everyone at the hotel was extremely helpful and polite. The first morning, I missed the grab-n-go breakfast, but they got me one of the bags on request. The employees all followed health protocols and safety. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
