Poor check-in service

Very long line for check-in on Saturday, 7/4/20. Only one window was opened (!) The supervisor was not at place and her contact info was not provided by the employee. The VIP checking in was closed. Just a poor front desk management/organization. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Lack of Amenities

Even knowing the COVID-19 issues, no room amenities (mini frig,coffee, maid services, enough towels and bath room products for the stay,even toilet paper). Contacting the concierge was basically met with a brusque that’s the way it is even after I told her other Harrah’s properties in Nevada we’re providing these amenities. Last trip to Harrah’s Lake Tahoe. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Customers do not wear masks

Stayed there one night and played some slots. Customers wear masks at table games, but not so much elsewhere in the casino. This is annoying and makes me hesitant to come back. Same thing in Reno casinos. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Checked into dirty hotel room

We stayed at Harrahs Lake Tahoe last week for 3 nights. It was our first visit, and we were very excited..but we were checked into a dirty room. I’d like to give the benefit of the doubt since they just reopened, but during a pandemic I find this unacceptable. I captured it all on film. We then were downgraded to a smaller suite than we originally had, but at least it was clean? 🙄 Restaurants around are great, and a lot of the staff was friendly. Good drink service on slot floor, and nice location. But the check in and room situation really put a damper on the whole trip. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

worst reservation system ever

This may be the greatest hotel in the world, but it is squirrely booking through their website and when you call you get an offshore call center that doesn't know anything about the hotel. Why don't you hire people that are local and know their property? TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
