My favorite in New Orleans

May 5th, 2020

I stay here every time I go to New Orleans. I absolutely love the place. Refrigerator in every room, fast elevators, people are always in a great mood, fun bar for happy hour at Ruth Chris or even at the steakhouse for casino right across the street. I have won numerous jackpots here! The only time I don't like going to casino is late Friday and Saturday nights. Too packed and really scary people hang out in there. I've had to get security more than once to get guys to stop bothering me. I love the hotel!! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Girls weekend

Mar 24th, 2020

Our entire stay was a mess from checking in and I’m trying to pay and the front desk saying your room and fees are taking care of. So I’m like ok or you sure. I said I have one night free and and had to pay for Saturday night. I was informed it had $0.00 balance. Later on something told me to check so I checked and Harrah’s charged my card I reserved the room with which I was told it was only needed to reserve them room because I was going to pay with my debit card when I arrived. I was told when booking the room that I could do so. This was not so. I called the front desk of Hilton’s and was told there is nothing they could do and it should where room was paid for. I informed them that no they tried to charge the card I reserved the room with and it declined. I was then told I had to cont Harrah’s front desk because the booking was done through them. I talked to 6 different people and it was after 2am and still issue wasn’t resolved. I was told I had to come in to the Harrah’s Hotel and talk with someone at front desk before 3 pm. I went to Harrah’s and still the front desk could not get it corrected and my debit card was scanned 4x and I was told it wouldn’t charge my card 4x and still did not get an answer if they took payment. I was giving a print out saying I still had $0 balance but that was still incorrect. Our hotel stay was a nightmare. The front desk staff and manger I talked to on the phone at 2am was rude, inconsiderate, and didn’t care. I will not be staying there again. I could add note but I’m just going to leave it at this!! Saddest Harrah's I have visited

Mar 23rd, 2020

We did not get the room we were expecting upon arrival. But points for Carl, manager, for making it up to us the next day. The 2nd room was our best experience in New Orleans. Their bathrooms (not in rooms, but for public) are not as clean and properly functioning as expected. There was a grunge about the city and in parts of Harrah's. Beware, I think it's a "sanctuary city", and homeless people abound. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Luxury in NOLA

Mar 23rd, 2020

I really like the rooms especially the bathrooms with the soaking tub and shower. Clean and comfortable. The location is great for the quarter or the Riverwalk shops or the WWII museum or the warehouse district or Canal Street and the casino TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
