Great Concert Stay

Aug 21st, 2019

So Happy we didn't have to make the terrible drive from DTE with it only being 7 miles away we were able to enjoy a stress free night. So much better then driving in all the traffic on the way home to Canton TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Good value

Room was spacious and had a lot to offer. Had a noise issue with the room above me that started at Midnight. at 3am approached the room attendant who right away told me no one was in the room above me without even checking his system to verify that. Noise mysteriously went away a half hour later. Something was going on here. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

An ok stay but not impressive

Aug 14th, 2019

There was no one at the front desk when I was trying to check in, just a small sign next to a phone that said to push 0 to check in but we stood there waiting a good 5+min looking around to see if I was even in the right spot because the check in lobby was small and didn't look like a typical lobby. Finally I see the phone that looked like the phone for the front desk with a tiny sign saying press 0 to be helped...so no security with all those people able to walk right into the hotel?! Incoming and outgoing people were bumping into each other just to try to squeeze past and there wasn't really a great spot to stand out of the way. Rooms were much smaller than expected when booking a "suite" and the queen bed was TINY!! Seriously it had to have been a full sized bed (I own a queen at home and this thing was nowhere near the size). Also when I went to go to breakfast in the morning and tried getting back in the room the night latch lock was crooked and made it seemed like it re-latched itself when I closed the door. I finally was able to get in after I threw my shoulder into it and it popped open. Breakfast was pretty good, but the eggs were SUPER salty, like actual large solid chunks of salt in them and many things were not restocked probably due to the fact the area was so small the breakfast lady was not able to fit in to check the stocking on the items. The gap under the door to the room was giant and let in so much light I needed to stuff a towel under it so I could sleep and the bed was not comfortable at all....which is odd because normally any hotel bed I have been in I sleep wonderfully/comfortable all night. The rooms were clean but much more outdated then the pictures make it appear. It was an ok place to stay but would not take anyone there to impress them and or even go back myself if I have the option to try another hotel. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Average - get what you pay for

Nice location, amenities and plenty of parking. The hotel did have a musty odor and the rooms even worse smelling. Breakfast area too small to eat in, need to take your food back to your room. I wouldn't stay again. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Last minute decision

Aug 11th, 2019

We decided to stay over night after attending a Lions game and didn't get want to be in downtown Detroit. They were great with booking a room and checking us in late! Everything was clean and the kitchenette rooms were very nice and comfortable! Breakfast was also very good, we were overall very pleased with our stay there. Having a pool or hot tub is the only thing that would've want our stay better 😉 TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
