This is a complete dump Trash EVERYWHERE and abandoned vehicles. Needs a total renovation with new management. Current management spends more time outside smoking than taking care of business. Unable to communicate with housekeeping because they don't speak English and I wonder if they are working legally! This location has closed and I was given 48 hours to find another property and get out. No reasons given and I had paid in full for 30 days IN ADVANCE. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Terrible service from front desk

First thing to note was that each room was separate with an outside entrance (the specialty here was for long-term guests), which ended up not being a good thing when we checked in during a downpour. We've stayed in Hawthornes before and they have had interior entrances. If check-in would have gone smoothly, I would have given a higher rating but since we were so disgusted with the check-in process, this is mostly based on check-in. The desk clerk seemed incompetent, telling us our room was in building 12 (there were 16). In building 12, we couldn't find the room number, walking around the building (in rain) and finally we figured out that since the key started with "14" it must be Building 14. So over we went that building, walked around looking for the room (it was on the back side), found it but the key wouldn't work. So back to the office we went. She re-keyed it and we went back to try again. It worked but the room was already occupied. Back to the office we went, by now soaking wet and irritable. She gave us a different key and I offered to stay at the desk where it was warm and dry and she could go out in the cold rain and see if it worked. She declined. Also, no apology. This time it did work but we were soaked to the skin and cold. The room itself was nice. Had a kitchen w/stove, fridge, mic, dishwasher, cupboards with dishes and silverware. There was a loose cabinet door which the hub fixed and the wastebasket had not been emptied from the last inhabitant. The next morning during check-out, I was asked how the stay was. I told her and she was shocked at the check-in fiasco, apologized and offered $20 off our bill, which we accepted. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Apartment style rooms that had everything that we needed. All staff members were nice and professional at checkin and checkout. Location was close to St. Luke's Hospital. They did not serve breakfast due to the coronovirus. But we still enjoyed our stay and will reserve a room here again when in town. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

The staff was friendly and the property was clean and had an inviting atmosphere the check in process was a hassle but overall we had a great experience. The suites are well kept and comfortable and in short distance to stores and restaurants TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Great Hotel, Great Service

We arrived at the hotel late, around 1:00 am. Christian checked us in, he was great. He upgraded our room as we had 4 adults. The room was clean and huge, the price was very reasonable. We really enjoyed our short stay. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
