I was planning on staying 9 nights while transitioning to relocate but the place was just filthy...the walls and floors all had spots, stains, fingerprints, someone put a label on one wall from some clothes that they had purchased. I stayed for 1 evening, paid cash, and then left. They misbilled my debit card even though I paid cash...not a fun time. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

We booked here because it was a suite with a kitchen. It was the worse place I have ever stayed. We had to go buy clean sheets to sleep. The room had stained everywhere. The pictures speak for themselves. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
What an adventure....

These are the things I encountered at this property...(in the sequence they occurred)... We saw a pregnant woman panhandling across the street from the motel as we pulled into the parking lot (more on this shortly). As we pulled in to the parking lot we noticed a couple cars with flat tires that appeared to have been there for a while, There were 2 transients sitting in the bushes and another walking around the entrance to the motel. A bike rack just outside the entrance doors contained at least a dozen aging bicycles. We also happened to notice the pool outside wasn't nearly as large as the picture on the website depicted. This turned into a theme as the poor condition of the property was no where near what appeared in the website pictures. The pictures, I can only assume, based on the reviews that describe the property that I'm now reading, were from several years ago. The pregnant woman who was panhandling across the street now entered the motel...as a guest. A police car cruised through the lot scattering those walking around. Once we entered the motel we checked in at the desk that was almost completely surrounded with plexiglass. Which I'm assuming is why the front desk and maintenance staff were never wearing masks...never. I was required to sign a statement that was completed illegible (as in copy of a copy of a copy...until blurry). When I told the front desk person that I wouldn't sign it because it was unreadable he said "you have to or I can't check you in" he went on to tell me it was a statement saying I couldn't sue if I contracted COVID while at the motel. We got our "non smoking" room assignment and went to the room. It had a very strong smoke smell so I called the front desk. I told him I'd like a nonsmoking room. The front desk person said he would come up and see about the smell. When he arrived with his maintenance man they stated that although the room smelled of smoke it was the best non smoking room they had "by far". Later I noticed that where the smoke detectors in the room once were there were now just wall plates. Due to the number of transients wondering in the parking lot and a possible prostitute, we moved our car across the street under a street lamp where we could keep an eye out for it from our room. On the way down to the car, i encountered some dog poo in the elevator. The front desk person was on his way to remove it when I went to report it. I decided to take the stairs down to the car and on my way overheard a very heated argument from tenants at the other end of the hallway...the other end. The staff were helpful, as much as they could be. I got the impression they were trying their best under the circumstances. This motel has lost the battle with the street. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Did not feel safe

I was booked to stay here for a weekend. Upon arrival I did not feel comfortable. The plexiglass around the whole checking counter was not a good sign and the stay was distracted to say the least. Also the whole lobby smelled of cigarettes! Needless to say I cancelled my reservation and stayed elsewhere. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Had an emergency trip here for my son going to hospital.

I booked this room while in the hospital with my son. My wife and other kids were a few hours behind me due to her work. We checked in and there was junk cars in the lot with people sitting in them doing some shady things, we carried on inside. Got our first room the bathroom light didn’t work correctly it strobed.went back and addressed the issue with the desk guy and got another room. Moved up to second floor and as you walk out the elevator there was a bloody filthy towel laying on the floor as you left the elevator. Fast forward a bit we left and came back later. Carried the rest of our things in the room. I ran down to grab some more things and a bunch of guys were lined up in front of the doors. Step outside and there was several prostitutes around the parking lot and entering and exiting a rear door way to the lot. They stopped one fella in the lot and he just got back in his car and left....we will never return to this hotel again. It’s not family friendly or safe for children TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
