Excellent stay during pandemic, 5 min from train- walking downhill slowly.

Nothing lacked at this Hilton. the bed were comfortable and room (death) quiet, lol. There was an option for take out meal from their restauran; fish sandwich was tasty. They could have offered take out drinks, but the espresso machine was down and they weren't serving alcohol. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

I love this hotel, it’s reasonably priced and the staff are awesome. When I was getting in the tub before bed I saw this and thought maybe the housekeeping department might want to do a little training.... TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Junior Suite Stay
Oct 31st, 2020
Hilton Anchorage, the more i write about their hospitality and service, it is indeed less. They provided us with a surprise welcome gesture that was a champagne 🍾 bottle with props from the bar. They even upgraded us to the Junior Suite room which has the best view in the hotel (hilltop and sea); all courtesy to Nicole, supervisor thanks a lot. Hilton Anchorage is one of the properties that has its west building built in a way that it can withstand higher magnitude Earthquakes causing least damages, fingers crossed. The front desk was very courteous, helpful and made our stay even more wonderful. Thank you Alex and Shubham. It was memorable and one of the best trips of our lives even in this pandemic. We explored a lot of areas around including Whitter, Palmer, Matanuska glacier, Seward Highway and the comfort of Hilton Anchorage felt like home. Thank you guys, See you next year. The worst Hilton!
Sep 8th, 2020
This is absolutely the WORST Hilton I have ever been to! We tried to check in at 2:00. The front desk said our room was not ready. We could store our luggage and come back at 3:00. We asked if they had a fridge since we had some food we wanted to store. They said none of the rooms have fridges but she could put us on a waiting list??? No fridges at a Hilton?? We came back at 3:00 and the room was still not ready. Waited in the lobby for 1/2 an hour and then finally got our room which was on the executive lounge level but the lounge was closed. The room was very outdated and no fridge. We asked and she said we were on the waiting list and she would let us know if we made it. I will say that the location is great - right across the street from 29th state brewery and close to the Tony Knowles Trail but the service and facilities are not up to Hilton standards. A bit disappointed
Aug 23rd, 2020
I requested to have a refrigerator in my room but they was told that I had to request it 24 hrs in advance. Refrigerators have become a necessity and are standard at most hotels. This was my first disappointment. My second one was when I got to my room (924), thete was blank gunk caked into the sink. Gross. They changed me to a different room. Third dissappointment: The ice machine was broken. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
