The worst Hilton!

This is absolutely the WORST Hilton I have ever been to! We tried to check in at 2:00. The front desk said our room was not ready. We could store our luggage and come back at 3:00. We asked if they had a fridge since we had some food we wanted to store. They said none of the rooms have fridges but she could put us on a waiting list??? No fridges at a Hilton?? We came back at 3:00 and the room was still not ready. Waited in the lobby for 1/2 an hour and then finally got our room which was on the executive lounge level but the lounge was closed. The room was very outdated and no fridge. We asked and she said we were on the waiting list and she would let us know if we made it. I will say that the location is great - right across the street from 29th state brewery and close to the Tony Knowles Trail but the service and facilities are not up to Hilton standards. A bit disappointed

I requested to have a refrigerator in my room but they was told that I had to request it 24 hrs in advance. Refrigerators have become a necessity and are standard at most hotels. This was my first disappointment. My second one was when I got to my room (924), thete was blank gunk caked into the sink. Gross. They changed me to a different room. Third dissappointment: The ice machine was broken. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Poor customer service

“Due to COVID” is the all encompassing excuse for poor customer service. Housekeeping: every 3 days. Need fresh towels, coffee, creamer? Left outside your door on the dirty carpet! Need bottled water? ONE bottle per STAY, not Day. I was there for 10 days. Even tho I was there for 10 days, they show me being there for only 5. Two of my colleagues had to change rooms, one, one time, the other twice, because their AC’s were not working properly. All of my crew have company credit cards. This particular property refuses to give us points for our stays. We stay all over the world, and this is the only property of all the Hilton’s and their competitors, to refuse to give us our points. You would think you were taking money out of this location’s personal pocket. I would have thought that all of the Hilton’s around the world would have the same standard operating procedures. Not true. I dread staying there. My company makes the reservations, so, I have no choice. On day 7 of my stay, after having to convince the receptionist that I was truly in my 7th day and not my 2nd day, as her records showed, I finally received housekeeping service. The housekeeping supervisor, Zenaida, personally cleaned my room and did an excellent job! She even gave me her phone # and told me to call her with any other concerns. I am very disappointed in the lack of Customer Service at this property. Our company spends a lot of money there. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Worst value of our entire 10 day trip!

For $200 for the night, there was no fridge, no microwave, no restaurant, no room service, no pool. And we had to put down an additional $50 deposit! Totally overpriced and disappointing. I can understand maybe the pool not being open due to COVID-19, but there is no excuse for the others. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Worse Hilton experiment ever!

We booked this location because it was convenient and paid for a view of the water/mountains. The first room we were put in had a heater issue—79 degrees in the room and it wouldn’t turn off. We called the front desk and the guy struggled to understand my southern drawl and said he’d send an engineer up. 2 hours later & several buckets I’d sweat, I went downstairs and he agreed to switch our room. New room air worked great...but the entire floor looked dirty (as in crumbs & hair in the bathroom) and the rooms were very dated. The next morning, NO ONE would answer the phone to bring us towels/wash clothes. The night before we didn’t realized there was only 1 in the room and that morning we had a flight. I called the housekeeping, front desk, concierge, front desk again, room service...all to no avail. Parking was free if you drove the car down the street and walked in the rain a few blocks back. Not worth the $207.45 I paid—I think we’d have been better off in a budget hotel! Skip this location and find a better option. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
