Lovely Hotel 15 Minutes from Hartsfield Airport

Jun 15th, 2019

I spent four nights and five days at the Hilton Atlanta for a conference also hosted by the hotel. My room, on the 23rd floor, was lovely with a nice view of downtown Atlanta, and contrary to other reviews was recently remodeled. The only complaint I would concur with would be the matter of very low water pressure in the shower. Service throughout the hotel and for the conference was exceptional, and Hilton's food beverage catering for the conference was outstanding. With quick ride share access to and from the airport, the location is great, and I would heartily recommend the Hilton Atlanta. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

This was a location for a conference I attended, great staff, especially the conceirge. was easy access to downtown venues, such as the peach tree center. Good choice for conference, as space was great for our workshops. very friendly staff, always asking if you need help. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

So Much For Hilton Honor...Didn’t Feel It.

Jun 11th, 2019

I was in Atlanta for a week long class at Georgia Tech and chose this hotel for it’s branding. The hotel is beautiful and although the room I was in did seemed dated, my stay was ok. It’s in a nice location but my overall stay left me with a “less-than satisfied” experience. The first MAJOR issue I had was with parking...you can only valet and it’s upwards of $46 dollars a day. I have a full-size truck and the valet parking does not accommodate “oversize” vehicles so I had to use a parking garage across the street. Depending on your entry/exit it the price for parking ranged from $7 to $40. Another issue was there is no pool. There is one across the street the the Marriott but there is no agreement between the hotels for guess to utilize it...as least I wasn’t told of any. And there’s a sky bridge that connects to two hotels... Finally, I had made reservations to stay through Saturday but decided I would leave after my class on Friday. Well, I was charged for the Saturday stay even though I was leaving on Friday. The hotel has a policy that requires a 72 hour notice to make any “changes or cancellations” to your reservations. I can understand being charged if I had reserved the room and didn’t show up...that would be lost revenue. But to vacate a room and have it available for the next guest is not a lost. Needless to say, I wasn’t happy about that. They make a big deal about “Hilton Honors Membership” (which I am) and I couldn’t get any consideration. If there was ever a time to show loyalty to it’s honor members, they missed it. One highlight of my stay at this hotel is that it’s not far from the national historical monument of Dr. King. Was honored to be able to take the short drive to visit these places. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Nice hotel. Seems to have a lot of space or maybe we just were there at a non busy time. Overall the hotel staff was nice and friendly. I like the multiple elevators, tennis court and track. Nice view from my window also. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
