Do not stay in this hotel

Nov 25th, 2020

First of all, do not make your reservation through a third party like this “agoda”. They will make it impossible to get your money back. The hotel charges $28 plus taxes for parking or you can drive around looking for parking around the streets (good luck). No ballet on site, the kid couldn’t be found. We had to change rooms 2 times. 1st one had problems with the toilet. The second room wasn’t clean. The third room had hair in the bathroom towels, but at this point it was late and we just wanted to sleep. We asked for a room with a water view, and they said it would cost extra, by the way you can’t even see through the windows because they all have this wife dirt fog like residue on them. The water takes forever to go down the drains in the bathroom. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Valet Staff

Aug 31st, 2020

Karlito Mays and Joseph M- went out of their way late at night to help a very tired father of the bride load up the car. Multiple trips with a sold out hotel. Outstanding service and just two really good guys. They get customer service. Thanks Guys! Jeff M. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Urine in my towel. 🤮🤮🤮

Aug 30th, 2020

I decided to stay here despite everyone telling me not to because no other hotel in Baton Rouge had vacancy because of Hurricane Laura. By far the worst experience in a hotel I’ve ever had. I went to take a shower. After I was done, I grabbed one of the folded towels under the sink. I start to dry myself off and I get a whiff of an odd smell. At first I shrugged it off like it just might be the brand of detergent. But then, I saw the towel in the light. IT WAS URINE! I immediately call the front desk and ask for a manger, but guess what. No manager on site. I ask for a new room because this one smells like urine and they say they can’t move me. They bring me another towel. And guess what? It’s got a woman’s hair in it. At this point, I’d rather sleep in my car. Avoid at all costs. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Old and Smelly

Jun 28th, 2020

This hotel is old and smells like dog pee. Had to change rooms twice. First not clean. Someone had just gone number two and showered. Good thing they were not still in there when we walked in. Second room AC was broken. Hallways stink. Hotel makes loud noises. Will never be back. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Last minute stop from long road trip

Jun 24th, 2020

We decided we couldn’t make it the whole 10 hours with our toddler and stopped for the night. We were greeted by the valet and helped get a bag out for us. All wore masks. Toya at the front desk was absolutely lovely and helpful. The property is beautiful and spotless. We ordered room service for dinner and breakfast. Wonderful rooms, very clean and well appointed.
