The best Hotel in Beijing

Feb 3rd, 2020

Having the Gold status, they gave us an upgrade and also access to the lounge. The room they gave us was a LifeStyle Suite. A fantastic, huge room. Only the bathroom is already bigger than many 4 * hotel rooms. Tasty and delicius breakfast. I want to congratulate the entire hotel, especially the reception staff. When we checked out, we asked for a transfer to the airport and they kindly told us that it was much better, cheaper and more effective to take the taxi at a stop 30 meters from the entrance. (taxi stop hidden since we had not seen it). other hotels would have advised us to book the taxi with them (with the hotel), being much more expensive, this has happened to us many times, but at the Hilton Wangfujing they were very friendly and legal and advised us correctly. Only for that reason I would recommend it, but let's not forget location, service, rooms ... TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Excellent staff and service

Jan 22nd, 2020

I stayed here in one of the executive suites. The room was very large, well laid out and cleaned/serviced impeccably by Housekeeping 2x day. The executive lounge served a decent breakfast with a good choice, including eggs cooked to order. In the evening, there was plenty of choice of light and cooked foods. During the day, the lounge caught a lot of sunshine and offered good views across the city. Average points - the food in the main restaurants was disappointing. The food I ate there was relatively expensive and of moderate quality. The gym, whilst well maintained, was very gloomy. I want to end on a very high note, the staff. Always helpful, polite, friendly and super efficient. That’s true for those working on reception, house keeping, in the gym, and especially housekeeping and the executive lounge. As other reviewers state, it’s location is excellent too. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Best. Hotel. Ever.

I booked this due to its proximity to the Forbidden City. It's one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in for the money. Very clean, awesome amenities, and the staff is top-notch. Very good breakfast and the library lounge is very nice as well. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Don’t miss this great experience

Excellent value; perfect location; wonderful experience! Staff was very pleasant and attentative and the hotel was beautiful. The hotel room was stunning - felt like I was at a five star hotel. The location was perfect. So close to many shopping and restaurant options. Safe and clean to walk around solo at night. Close to Forbidden City and Metro. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. Pleasant and comfortable stay; Price premium for staying in Wangfujing area may not be good value for typical tourists

Jan 8th, 2020

It's everything you would expect of a Hilton - pleasant room, comfortable bed, good service, decent breakfast. Pretty pleasant stay, and nothing much to complain about. Just a few things to note before staying in the Wangfujing area. 1. The area is very built-up, and the hotel is kind of "boxed up" by the buildings nearby. If you are facing APM mall, you get no privacy as the offices overlook the rooms directly. 2. Wangfujing is supposedly a good location, but there's actually not much on the street itself, other than shopping malls. While there are many food options, if you are going for specific restaurants (the usual famous peking duck places), you'll still end up travelling out. While near to forbidden city, it is still not a comfortable-walking-distance near, and you will likely still end up taking a cab. There's a significant price premium to staying in the Wangfujing area, and I don't think it's actually worth it. If you are going out to the Great Wall, intending to try out the few different famous peking duck restaurants, and going around to other sights and areas around the city, the price premium for staying in Wangfujing might not be worth it.
