Great room and breakfast was better than most restaurants in area. Service was very professional and courteous. Presently the two top floors are being renovated and the pictures after it is complete looks amazing, so we will be back when they are completed. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great Stay

Dec 14th, 2019

Your bartender on 12/9 was awesome. She was super friendly and very helpful. She had several guests at tables and at the bar and provided a joyful experience for me and I would say the others as well. The wings and steak over ancient grains were both delicious. Great job! The bartender on the 11th was also super! He shared some fishing stories and provided smiling service and was great to be around. Didn't get his name but he cooks also. As a matter of fact, when I checked out on Friday 12/13, I asked if there was a good grab and go breakfast near by. All of the sudden, he poked his head around the corner and said "We can whip you up the best breakfast burrito around and make it to go for you!" He did and he was right. It was delicious and filling. Your staff was exceptional on this trip. My last trip to town I stayed in Uptown but I know that I will be back here again the next time I visit. Thanks for a good trip. Great Stay for the FIesta

Dec 2nd, 2019

We booked (well in advance) for the Balloon Fiesta. This location is great for a long weekend where you plan to attend the festival. My only wish would be that the hotel did a shuttle, even if it were just one time only. The hotel is only 1.5 miles from the balloon park but still be prepared to be stuck in traffic for ... HOURS. Day 1 we left the hotel at about 430am, and it took us 2 hours to go 1.4 miles. Day 2 we left about 6am and parking lots were all full after sitting almost not moving for 2 hours and we were stuck parking alongside a highway with no easy access to the grounds. If you want more Fiesta tips or more details please message me. Anyway, the hotel is clean, nice for the stay. Breakfast is served on site but it also backs up to a Cracker Barrel which was nice to grab a quick meal. Easy access to the Freeway to see other sites, and get to the airport. Also close to the tramway up the Watermelon Mountains and casino. If looking for a non-Fiesta time of year I would say it is a pretty general location similar to others. Parking is free. OK hotel, but rooms need to be refreshed

Nov 19th, 2019

Very nice hotel staff and breakfast. Staff are very nice. The rooms are very dated and really need a refresh. Nothing really wrong except that the matress is worn out, just that the rooms really need to be refreshed. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Bait & Switch!

Nov 19th, 2019

BAIT AND SWITCH. I prepaid a couple of nights on a travel website, for a junior suite with a king bed. They gave me a standard room with queen bed instead. I went down to fix, and the manager on duty told me that somebody had purposefully switched my rooms, that's why the lady in the front had given me that lesser room. I wasn't happy, but it was 8:30 and didn't want to look somewhere else. I asked for Regina the manager the next morning, but she wasn't there. I asked them to have Regina the manager call me, to no avail. I actually left early, on purpose. They probably saw I had a Hispanic last name and thought I was too stupid to remember what I had purchased. It's a shame when these place have no leadership or accountability. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
