Very Dissapointing

Nov 6th, 2019

We were very disappointed with this hotel. The room was so dark I had to use the flashlight on my phone to see what was in my suitcase. There was a lamp on the bedside table, but the lamp switch was on the opposite side of the lamp from the bed. There weren’t any drawers in the room or the bathroom. The pull rod on the curtain was broken and the glass doors were VERY difficult to maneuver. They had a Keurig in the room but they didn’t replace the coffee or cups for the next day, and the lids they had didn’t fit the cups. The Valet attendants were a delight. But the mandatory valet parking at $26 a day was a bit of a surprise. A watch charger was left on the bed. We called when we got home. We were told housekeeping would call back, after 2 days I called back again. The desk clerk said SHE would call me back. The call was returned by housekeep and the charger had not been found. Not worth the money

Too many problem with this hotel. Not worth the price paid. The bathroom exhaust fan can not be turned off and the noise makes it difficult to sleep. Lousy tv channels. Internet is decent. No pool of hot tub. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

SUPRISINGLY NICE!

Oct 25th, 2019

I had always thought these "diffusion: brands would be a little downmarket. How wrong i was in this case. Great location, super staff on the front desk, and a spacious, well appointed room for a short stay. We chose a room at the end of the corridor to avoid foot traffic and were pleased to find a large bathroom with Neurtogena products and a large double shower stall. The public areas while catering to an in and out crowd were comfortable and nicely put together. The restaurant served a good evening meal, I had a pulled pork sandwich and dries, my partner a burger and they certainly tasted freshly made rather than frozen then cooked. The bar was well stocked with local ales and everything you could imagine. Our one issue was with the breakfast service. The young lady had to deal with a group of about twelve of us all seated in pairs. She didn't write anything down and therefore we, and think this stands for all of us, did not get what we ordered, We received a variation of what we ordered but not actually what we wanted. Water was asked for and never came. It would have been so easily solved by letting the young lady have a pad and pen. At the evening gathering we all got what we wanted and promptly. To be honest the breakfast service was all we were unhappy in terms of service. In terms of furnishings, the comforter, was faced with a man-made fibre and this made for a"sweaty" night sleep. That was a shame. I hope they change this. All in all a well appointed attractive downtown hotel. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Courteous and friendly staff. Room was what we expected and more. Clean and comfortable. Quiet and restful stay. Great location! 10 minute walk to Main Street. West street offers some great dinning and shopping options as well. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great Location

Oct 23rd, 2019

For going to a Navy football game this hotel is located within easy walking to the stadium. The location is also close to the water front and many great locations for food and drink. The valet parking was very efficient with little to no wait time for them to retrieve the car. The staff at the front desk know the town and are very friendly. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
