Overall a good stay. The staff was very nice and engaging and very professional. The room was good could have been better if the lighting was better and the hot water more consistent instead of sporadic. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Over-priced, under-delivered.

Hilton Garden Inn Augusta is nothing better than "adequate". The building is old, the furniture is stiff and uncomfortable, and absolutely everything is an additional fee. Including having the room. Which requires 4 separate room taxes. I'm positive this hotel is in business solely to cater to golf tournament fans two weeks per year. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Bed Bug Infestation, Cockroaches, and Unsanitary Bathrooms

Feb 19th, 2020

See pictures for evidence of below. I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights in February. On the second night, I noticed bed bugs in my bed. I promptly captured one in a ziplock bag, went down to the front desk, and demanded a room change. The front desk did not seem very surprised to see this. I also asked if I could check out of the hotel this night free of charge so I could just find a new hotel. I was told this could not be done since a manager was not present, so I then proceeded to move all of my things to my new room with no help at 11:30pm. I also spent time that night on the phone with Hilton Honors basically being told they can do nothing and it’s up to the hotel management to compensate me. The next room I was put in was infested with lady bugs and had dried urine at the base of the toilet. Also the lobby had multiple cockroaches crawling around that the front desk attendant was attempting to mop up. She said this is a normal occurrence when it rains. Absolutely disgusting and unsanitary. I’ve now checked out of the hotel and am at a laundromat attempting to purge my clothes of the infestation. I have had to buy new luggage and a new backpack. I also had to purchase new shoes as there’s no way to purge my shoes of this as they are leather. All the while, I’ve been attempting to contact hotel management and have been given the run around saying they are on a conference call and cannot come to the phone. Their initial offer is to give me $100 worth of points for my troubles. I’ve now lost over $350 in personal items, not to mention 2 nights of my own time and spent one night being feasted on by parasites at this establishment. Do yourself a favor and stay anywhere else. Anywhere. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Comfortable Stay

Feb 6th, 2020

I stayed here for one night on a trip for business. The hotel was conveniently located with ample parking. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the room was comfortable and clean. Renovations were in process during my stay. However, I heard no noise in my room, and the hotel has done an excellent job of accommodating the ongoing work without impact to the traveler. I will be booking here for my next return trip. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
