Clean, spacious, and comfortable room. Beautiful and inviting lobby area. Friendly team members that made you feel welcomed. Great breakfast selections. Loved the evening oatmeal cinnamon cookie at the front desk. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Excellent Staff....so friendly

Feb 1st, 2020

The staff was so friendly.... you don’t feel like a guest but like one of the family. The rooms and entire hotel was very clean. Breakfast was great. Everyone really went out of their way.... especially Jamie (front desk). I would definitely come back again. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Technical issues at an otherwise solid hotel

Jan 31st, 2020

I have stayed at this hotel in the past and my last stay was definitely not up to its normal standards. I am going to blame it on the renovations that are currently underway at the hotel. My room key card and that of many other guests were simply not working. Upon arrival I was given my room key and told that it might not work. If that should happen, I should pick up the phone by the elevator to ask for assistance. The key did not work and the front desk was so busy helping other people with the same issue that I had to go back to the front desk. At no point during my stay that evening or the next morning did my key work. The only way to get into the room was for someone from the front desk to open the door. Extremely inconvenient after a workout or going out to dinner or going to breakfast. The renovation also forces you to eat breakfast in a conference room. It works, but not nearly as well as the usual restaurant area. I also had a minor maintenance issue in the room. I will probably try this hotel again in the future, but not until their renovation is complete. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great stay and great location

Jan 19th, 2020

Hotel is in a great location with many amenities and restaurants nearby. It’s also conveniently close to many attractions in the area. The hotel and our room were very clean. One of the unique features of this hotel is the pond located out back. Would definitely stay here again. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Best of the best

Jan 9th, 2020

I stay here on multiple occasions all the time from business to visiting family or my daughter attending UVA. They are always welcoming and my you feel like family. Kelly always calls me by name and Jill is always the sweetest as well. There is construction going on at the current time as well and it is concealed, even tho loud which is expectable. We did see this listed on the website prior to this last visit, so it was nice to have the heads up. They also have moved the dining area to the back as the construction affects the dining area that is normally booming during breakfast and very quit and intimate during dinner. I would recommend this hotel to anyone coming into the area. Convent to 64 and just outside of the cities craziness as well. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
