I have chosen Hilton because I knew I will be tired of my flight with all the luggage that I have. It was a mistake. The front desk agent was rude and not hospitable. She made me repeat two times each phrase that I said. She speaks Spanish so it should be easy to understand my English since I have a Spanish accent but no, it was so hard. And even if my English is not good enough, operation staff should not make feel the guest as not understood. I ask her for help to carry the bags, no help AT ALL. No explanations of facilities, she almost refuse for me to pay cash because she was not ready for it with her cash float. I work in hospitality around the world with companies as Hilton and above, standards of personalized service could be a priority, especially on these moments. All of us have too much on our minds so we need easy treatment. My friend works at Hilton and she is going throw so many training for Covid. She asked me to check each detail feeling proud, sadly I have to said nothing made me feel safe regarding covid. Tv was not working with weak or nonsignal. And the shower was with water on it when I got to the room. Working In hotels I know reviews can be harsh to take but as well bring opportunity to grow. I hope it help you to motivate and inspire the staff to represent a brand that has a legacy of personalize service, Integrity and Hospitality. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Great Hotel, Wonderful Manager

As Hilton Diamond members, we have stayed at many Hilton Garden Inns and the Miami West location far exceeded our expectations. This past winter, we had multiple and somewhat complicated reservations at this location as we were using it as our home base between three cruises in addition to leaving our car there for an extended time. The Front Desk Manager, Amanda Graham was extremely understanding and accommodating of our needs. She handled our requests and reservations with the utmost professionalism, efficiency and in a courteous manner. Thank you Amanda for making such a complicated situation turn out so successfully. Only half impressed

I will say the hotel was clean, but they could do a lot better. I was there for 3 nights and had to beg for towels and coffee for our room. We never got them. I would have like to have seen coffee in the lobby. (you had to pay $4 for a cup of not so good coffee) Our Hilton in San Francisco has in the lobby coffee, decaf and tea ready in the morning. I would also say the bed was comfortable and as close as we were to the airport, I didn't hear one plane. The very nice restaurant located inside had wonderful food and staff, but the wait time was horrendous. They did try to make it right so that help our 2.5 hour dinner. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
good clean hotel

The hotel shuttle picked us up from Miami airport with 10/15 minutes. This shuttle actually picks up guests for 3 other hotels too. Bed was clean and very comfortable and so was the bathroom. Very satisfied with the room but not so with the onsite restaurant. I ordered the BBQ chicken flat bread and what they gave was pretty burnt and badly cooked. Never had such bad food. I’m staying at this hotel for 2 Nights before my cruise 🚢 I can’t say enough about the staff here Britnee and Amanda were absolutely accommodating and Definitely a true definition of team work this hotel is so nice and they even gave us a complimentary room upgrade just as a gesture of kindness Thank you so much I highly recommend this hotel !!!
