Overnight stay

We spent the night at the Hilton Garden Inn before our morning flight home. The hotel is very nice, clean and the staff excellent. Check in was quick and friendly. Our room was adequate. If I have one negative comment it is about the very, very noise heat/A/C unit in the rooms. Made it hard to sleep and was blowing way to much. We had dinner at the restaurant and our waitress Tonya was excellent and so efficient. The restaurant was busy but she never lost her cool and had a friendly word for everybody. Did not have breakfast since we had an early flight. The shuttle bus came promptly as requested and took us to the airport. I did like the hotel and its close proximity to the airport but am not sure if I would stay there again because of the heat/AC unit. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

home away from home

everything from the shuttle pick up from the airport to the nice greeting & efficient but friendly check in was great. Rooms were clean, quiet and very comfortable .The waitress in the hotel restaurant was fantastic and although busy she checked in with everyone and delivered excellent customer service. Breakfast was really fresh and delicious with hot & cold options and bakery . TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

OK and not much more

This property has not caught up with the refreshed look and extra service-oriented movement within the Hilton Garden Inn chain. Its rooms, breakfast, lobby, and overall staff are fine, serviceable, but unremarkable. And there are annoyances: — just TWO luggage carts for the entire hotel. Fortunately they're not the dinky little 3-wheel pizza-slice-shaped jobbies that hold very little. They're full-sized, but one's tires were so under-inflated that if you place more than a pillow on them, the cart barely rolls. (Yes, I am exaggerating.) — an affront to the senses in the business center, of all places. Loud, pulsating dance music! Such aural assaults are bad enough in hotel lobbies, breakfast spaces, and loading areas. But the BUSINESS CENTER??? — and the staff could use a reminder about the importance of staff courtesy. Prior to departing for a very long trip through the Utah Mountains, I noticed that our car's windshield could use a good cleaning. I spotted a young staff member leaning against the front desk (whose personnel were not around), and this conversation ensued (it is nearly verbatim as I remember it): ME: do you have any window cleaner I could borrow? STAFFER: No, I don't. ME: Well, could you get me some? STAFFER: If I could, I would have got it for you. So off we went, bugs and all, wondering about the property's concept of "customer service." I'm sure this was a one-off, but it squashed (a bug reference) any idea of rating the hotel any higher than average. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Business trip to Salt Lake City

Comfortable room, friendly staff, free breakfast for diamond members. Made to order breakfast items plus buffet. Good idea though egg white omelet too salty and pancakes too sweet. Great selection of very fresh fruit including half grapefruit. Shuttle to airport on demand. Restaurant for dinner. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Very nice Hotel

I stayed at Hilton Garden inn Wiley post way the hotel is nice and their shuttle service is exceptional now better then the one they had before friendly drivers and quick service now. Front desk staff is very helpful too. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
