Ok Stay, Won’t Repeat

Aug 10th, 2020

I waited to write this review because I didn’t want to do it out of anger but I won’t be staying at this hotel again. I used to live in San Diego and I still visit from time to time but I went against my better judgment. I prefer to park my own car and the hotel website said that valet was closed so self-parking was available. Not so…when I arrived it was valet only for $45 per night. Is it the end of the world no…is valet in San Diego expensive yes but I specifically chose this hotel because I would have access to my car and come and go as I pleased without dealing with valet (waiting, tipping etc.). This felt like a bait and switch scam. Free parking is available on the street but hard to find and not secure. To their credit the gentlemen at the valet were very professional fast and courteous. My room opened up to a courtyard so don’t expect a view. Anyone or group hanging out in the courtyard can be heard in your room. Housekeeping is lacking because there was quite a bit of hair in the bathroom on the towels shower and toilet. Even with COVID the cleaning of guest rooms is not being taken seriously. Bring your won disinfectant and wipes and go over everything yourself. The A/C is loud and hard to adjust. Front desk personnel were very nice and professional to include the wonderful young lady at check-out. They’re all great. Overall just not worth the price and hassle. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Valet parking $45 with other issues - bring wipers

Jul 25th, 2020

Valet parking was mandatory at $45. We had to leave early each morning and you had to go to the front desk and they dug through a big box of car keys until they found yours and you drove yourself out. This is high for valet and not even full valet service. Valet parking has been deemed not safe throughout the country due to COIVD. We had to wipe down the car each time we got in. I did not see the valets wipe anything. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Amazing Choice!

Mar 7th, 2020

One of the best hotels I've stayed at. The staff all around were extremely helpful and welcoming. Room was cleaned to perfection daily and the bed was so, so comfortable. Only recommendations would be to lower the prices in the little shop in the lobby and to expand options within the fitness center. Very good-looking campus with plenty of space and places to mingle. Thanks! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great Hotel

Mar 6th, 2020

The Hotel is Next to the airport but quiet. It is clean and well maintained. The staff was very friendly. Breakfast was ok. Two opportunities to improve are: Elevator 3 was very shaky and scared people on two occasions regarding „safe travels“ with it. The floor in the breakfast buffet might become sticky over time with people pouring juice, but this should not be the case at 06:00 in the morning. I will return, since the overall experience was a good one. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
