I have a HUGE issue with how this hotel is handling COVID protocols. I stayed there on Monday, January 4th for one night. The next morning we had hoped to grab some breakfast, but was shocked to see the desk clerk in the kitchen. She was serving a family their food from the hot bar and not wearing a mask. She did have on gloves. After serving the family, She went from the hot bar to the food buffet and picked up a shipping boxl. She placed items on the food buffet, checked the stock, went back to the hot food bar to stir the items, back to the food buffet to check something all the while wearing the same gloves and wearing no mask. The last trip to the food buffet she wiped her nose on her sleeve and then walked to the front desk and started typing on the computer. All while wearing the same pair of gloves and no mask. I watched all this and we left without any breakfast to be sure. If that's a common practice, I am sorry that I stayed at this hotel. If there isn't enough staff then put out some muffins and call it a day. The other person at the front desk wore her mask tucked under her chin each time I saw her. Then why wear a mask? When we had arrived the night before, the desk clerk did not have on a mask when we entered, but put on on as we approached the desk. The room we stayed in had the CleanStay seal on the door and was clean. We got a nice upgrade to a wellness room which is a regular room with an air purifier. There was little water pressure in the shower and a terribly loud AC unit. There are other choices in the are- I wish I had stayed elsewhere. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

We just returned from a stay at this hotel in Tuscaloosa. It is very clean and the staff is very accommodating. They follow masking and social distancing protocols. It is about a five minute drive to the U of Alabama campus, not a big deal at all. We would stay here again. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
‘Hilton clean stay procedures are not in place

This hotel is out of compliance with both CDC and Hilton brand standards and the Clean Stay protocols are not in place. There are no Clean Stay stickers on the doors and the hotel was visibly dirty, With trash cans overflowing with tissues in elevator lobbies. The assistant general manager appeared to be the only employee on site and was not wearing a mask when behind the front desk or when walking around the lobby , as required by the brand and by Alabama state Execute Order. Friendly, clean and convenient hotel

Very nice hotel for an overnight stay passing through. The hotel is clean and they seem to be abiding by good practices during the pandemic. The hotel is convenient to many dining choices, and has their own restaurant as well. Well-stocked snack bar makes late night snacking convenient. The room was clean and we love their Neutrogena amenities. Keurig also a nice amenity, including the hot chocolate. Beds were very comfortable. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great Location, well run, very clean, excellent breakfast and dinner. We had a great family stay. They have a lovely outdoor courtyard with fire pit. Very nice facilities including conference area. Convenient parking and good restaurants nearby if you don't wish to eat there. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
