This is a great deal!

The Hilton Torrey Pines provided exactly what our family needed: excellent accommodations for a spectacular price and really wonderful service. From the Hotel’s Manager, Tim Booth, to the folks at the front desk like Teresa to each and every member of the cleaning crew and maintenance staff- they greeted us with smiles that shone even through their masks! Really great service! Also, our family played golf while there and had our clubs shipped to the hotel. Hotel staff went above and beyond to make sure they were kept safe and secure until we claimed them and then watched over them until FedEx came to collect them. Thanks Hilton staff for making us feel special! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Bird Poop on Tables

Bird Poop on tables. Dirty and unmaintained floors. Terrible experience. Concierge service was very arrogant and condescending and gave me wrong information about the Torrey Pines golf course. Extremely unprofessional and rude. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
True Vacation Feel
Aug 3rd, 2020
If you are looking for a property with that true “on vacation” feel, this property is a very good choice. If you are golfing at Torrey Pines, it is a great choice. I could not give it 5 stars because guest services were limited (restaurants etc). Rooms were clean, enjoyed balcony view and sitting outside. Ac was quiet (left slider open at night, nice cool and fresh air), hot water comes on fast in shower, nice selection of cable channels, internet from my room not fast enough to run Roku, but fast enough to run lap top. Bath towels large but thin. If you are staying more than one night request extra towels prior to arrival. There was no dine in options, but you could order to take outside (Covid restrictions). The breakfast pancakes were some of the best I have tasted. There are plenty of places to walk including the golf course and Torrey Pines State Reserve (when they reopen it). If you are golfing, check in, get a cart and drive it over to Hilton to pickup your clubs. They have access to Hilton via golf path, (behind Hilton and Torrey Pines Lodge) - there is a road between both properties right off golf course. Ask for a room on 4th floor, best view and most quiet. With the “clean room” promotion I was pleased to see they actually cleaned the tv remote control and other things they have not cleaned in the past that AJ usually needed to clean. I would not hesitate to stay here again. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Incredible Hotel and Price
Jul 28th, 2020
We stayed at the Hilton Torrey Pines from July 24-26 (Friday through Monday morning). Our experience was completely the opposite of the other reviews. We found our room on the 4th floor, southside (as we requested) overlooking the pool and golf course to be exceptionally clean. The carpeting looked newly scrubbed, the chairs were pristine with no stains. The bathroom looked thoroughly clean with freshly washed tub, sink, and floor. Plenty of towels. The TV remote was covered with a cleanliness blue wrapper. The door panel had a blue sticker that stated the room was cleaned, disinfected, inspected for cleanliness before our arrival. We selected the AAA Park and Stay plan for a total of $208.05 per night ($24.26 in taxes), no resort fee, well below all other hotels in the area. The pool was cleaned every two hours (a staff of 8-10 cleaned, disinfected, sprayed) for 1/2 hour which we and many parents with children appreciated. One mother informed me at the pool, that she had stayed at another hotel down the street (Estancia) for a much higher price and that she thought this hotel was cleaner and much better priced. She wished she had stayed at the Hilton first. We had hamburgers with salads (substituted for french fries) for dinner for $16.00 each. The hamburgers were thick, juicy, and delicious. Excellent price for the area! Everyone, all staff each morning greeted us with 'hello'. My morning Starbucks (mocha latte) was perfect (large size) for $4.65, cheaper than at home ($5.25). The environment was beautiful, the ocean view over the golf course was spectacular! We enjoyed morning walks around the grounds and Torrey Pines Park areas. We did bring our own bottled waters, juice, cereal, milk which we placed in the empty mini-fridge. Also, extra paper towels. When we left, we checked out through our phone, then checked with the front desk to see the bill. Everything was accurate. We enjoyed our stay and felt safe, secure in our exceptionally clean room. All front desk staff wished us a wonderful day and a safe trip home. We will definitely be coming back to this awesome hotel. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Unclean room. We expected more from this 4 star hotel.
Jul 22nd, 2020
We stayed at Hilton Torrey Pines from July 9-11. The staff we encountered were helpful but the room itself was very unclean. The floors in the room were dirty & we had to request a vacuuming. Our puppy found a half eaten dog treat on the floor from a previous guest. The refrigerator had a creamy substance inside - clearly not cleaned before our arrival. We had to request housekeeping again for the refrigerator. When we tried to use the coffee maker, there was water left over from previous guests, obviously not cleaned. There were crumbs outside of our door in the public hallway when we arrived and they were still there when we left. These issues made us uncomfortable in the room especially during this Covid awareness time. Signs are posted in the lobby promising extra sanitation and cleanliness but we didn’t feel confident. We were glad to have brought our own Clorox wipes and Lysol sprays. The hotel was not busy at all. We expected more from this 4 star hotel. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
