Excellent location, Clean Hotel

Mar 21st, 2020

Traveling from out of state with a friend and decided to stay here during the 2020 Twin Cities Auto Show, which was canceled due to the virus pandemic on the Saturday that we planned on visiting the auto show. The last time we stayed at this was hotel was roughly 5 years ago, before the remodeling took place, and was pleasantly surprised how different the lobby looks, 100% better and more modern and upscale, along with the remodeled hotel rooms. The hotel is connected to the skyway system for downtown Minneapolis, which is a bonus and close to the Minneapolis Convention Center, plus many more attractions, restaurants and shopping. We were only there for one night and checked in around 7:30 pm, didn't use the bar or restaurant area within the hotel. Stayed in room 2344, the beds were comfortable and didn't hear any noise, but the room was clear at the end of the hallway and not close to an elevator, which did help with the noise reduction. The only issue with the room was the water would not drain properly in the bathroom sink, which I did express the concern when I checked out. Hopefully the hotel was responsible and sent someone to get the drain unclogged. The hotel was very quick in sending someone up with washcloths as my room was missing them. If you are not a Hilton Honors Member, I would defiantly sign up (only takes minutes and it is free) and download the Hilton App on your Smart Phone. This was the first time using the app and was able to select my own room (2344) and use the Digital Key (If you select that option) which was very handy and worked on the first try. The hotel was very quick on responding to my text messages that I would send to them through the Hilton Honors. The hotel has either valet parking (not sure on the price) or you can park your own car in the parking garage under the hotel (nice option during the winter months to keep your car clean of snow or during the summer months to keep your car cool from the direct sun) . The price was $15 for 24 hours, but if you leave the parking garage and you plan on coming back to use the garage, you will need to pay again. I would suggest that if you plan on leaving the parking garage multiple times, you pay $25 and obtain a code from the hotel front desk so you are able to leave and go as you please from the parking garage. All around, great hotel, great location, will be back! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Irresponsible facility that can careless about consumer

Mar 16th, 2020

Checked in to hotel with excellent customer Service. Ended the stay with itch and rashes. Concierge did not address the issue during the night of my stay. No towel or toiletries stocked from turn down. Management absolutely could care less how their consumers feel. Manger blamed me for not flagging the situation when it happened when I actually did. Good clean hotel

Mar 8th, 2020

Was here for a night “staycation”. The hotel is in a great location, was clean and the service in the hotel bar was great. The bed was comfortable, the room was a good size and the shower had lots of water pressure. Was reasonably priced and a good place to stay in downtown Minneapolis. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Loved the location. Very close to the train and was able to take to Mall of America and sightsee. Weather held off and was beautiful. Got to visit US Bank Stadium and attended a University of Minnesota Hockey Game! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Easy access to Minneapolis Convention Center by Skyway system. Many other restaurants within easy walking distance. Bar and restaurant very nice and plentiful buffet style breakfast. Valet service was quick and can text for retrieval. Rooms and bed are very comfortable. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
