Quick Trip to Paris from UK

Dec 5th, 2019

We had a three day stay in Paris and booked this hotel with my honors points partly because of location. It was very well situated. There are a few metro lines not far from the hotel and the main rail station of Gare Saint Lazarre right behind the hotel. A historic building which has been renovated beautifully. The room was very clean and all the staff were extremely helpful and polite. Loved that the bathroom floor was heated which was a wonderful surprise for December when it was cold outside. Very comfortable bed and pillows. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great Location in Paris

Dec 5th, 2019

We enjoyed the hotel location and ease to the Paris Metro and RER and Train Station. Shopping and restaurants just a few steps out the front door. Executive lounge was excellent, great service and good conversations with guest from all over the world. Concierge set us up with tickets to everything we wanted on the first morning. Was a great experience. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Firm beds

Dec 5th, 2019

The Hilton is a lovely, historic hotel right next to the Gare de Saint Lazare train station. It was built in 1889 and is absolutely gorgeous and impressive both inside and out. It has always been a hotel since it was built and has many lovely amenities. I was worried the room would be small since it was old, but that was not the case. Although our shower was tiny. The bed we had must have been the firmest bed I have ever experienced in my life. Afterwards I spoke with someone at the hotel who informed us that we could request a softer bed so keep that in mind if you like a nice soft bed like I do. It wouldn’t have occurred to me that they would have options. Our other hotel certainly didn’t. My absolute favorite part of the hotel, however, was the breakfast selection. It’s 25€ so it’s expensive, but it was so delicious! They had crepes, pancakes, waffles, honeycomb, a big leg of ham to slice off pieces, several breads, white beans, scrambled eggs and so much more. Arrive early though because despite closing at 10:30am, they start picking up the food at 10am. That was my ultimate sadness because I could have certainly eaten more! The metro stop and bus stop is nearby. Also, if you want to go to the Perfume Museum it is nearby and easily within walking distance. Lots of atms if you walk towards the Opera. A Marks and Spencer is about a 5 minute walk west of the hotel. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Wonderful Hotel and Staff

Dec 3rd, 2019

Excellent location in Paris - close to restaurants, transportation and shopping. Hilton staff was wonderful and the Executive Lounge was fantastic for both breakfast and evening cocktails. Very historic hotel tied to the 1889 Exposition Universelle (World's Fair) for which the Eiffel Tower was built - beautiful hotel. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Hilton Opera Paris

Nov 30th, 2019

Had the pleassure to come to Paris and enjoy a weekend and Hilton Opera Paris. I ordered an Executive room (in fact 2, as I had one room for my kids). Got 517, wow! What a joke, you pay a lot and get something else than what you thought. The web page promisess ; large room (not 517), walk in shower (not 517), large bed (not in 517). Went down to check in to ask about the room and they had typical french attitude..... So no Hilton for us in the future. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
