Horrible Experience

Sep 21st, 2019

Just finished up a five day stay and i am not impressed this time around with this hotel. The hotel was booked in advance for three individuals when we got to the hotel we found we had two of each necessity item in the bathrooms. While I was on the phone calling the receptionist and advising them this was booked for three individuals we should have three of everything she asked what was needed and then hung up on me. I was not pleased with this type of customer service so I called back and she placed me on hold Immediately three times! Personally that’s not good customer service. In addition the third night I was here they started doing landscaping services at eight in the morning mind you I like to wake up a little later on vacation. I had to call three different times for someone to actually listen to my complaint and tell the landscapers to stop cutting down a huge coconut tree. Today is my last day here and it is about 8:00 AM. AGAIN, now they’re starting to cut the grass with the loud Weedeater. I find it quite disrespectful for them to start these services this early in the morning, they should care more about their clients in which they could very much still be sleeping! When you are on vacation you don’t wake up at eight in the morning and definitely dont want to be WOKEN UP! Last night it took me more than 30 minutes to get my car from valet aswell, there was no busboy available because they were all “busy”! I would not recommend this place at all. My time is valuable and hate waste it on correcting problems there should Not be! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Hacienda worth the money

Sep 11th, 2019

If you go without kids, definitely stay at the Hacienda. Much quieter in the pool area and much less crowded. The staff at the poolside was incredible! Never had an empty drink. The room area was loud at night, with people coming back from the bars. The rooms were clean, but our shower ceiling fell in about half way through our trip. The shower above us must have been leaking. I called and let them know but no one ever came. The French Restaurant was incredible, and the service was outstanding. The buffet was not worth going to. 08/31 - 09/05 Trip

Sep 8th, 2019

Our first night was not the best. We were giving an "upgrade," in the Hacienda, but the room (175) was filthy. There were cup ring marks on the counters, the fridge barely had anything, there was only one towel, and the shower door still had shampoo stains. The next day I went to use the br, I lifted the toilet seat, and the underside was covered in feces. I complained and we were moved to room 481 in the Hacienda. This room was much better and the hotel staff apologized for the inconvenience. Besides that, the pools and views were pretty good. The breakfast buffet is the same everyday, so we got tired of it after the 2nd day. We had a superb waiter, Francisco, and he bent over backwards for us. The Brazilian restaurant was not really the best; the Italian restaurant was better. We never got to try the sushi bar nor French restaurant. We plan on going back as overall we did enjoy our stay. Loved the adults only area

Sep 7th, 2019

My wife and I just finished our 6 day stay during early Sept and our stay was lovely. We took a cab from the airport ($18 + tip) and a cab back from the hotel to the airport ($8 + tip). Very easy just don't stop in the "shark tank" area as you leave the airport as they are trying to trick you into a timeshare saying you need to stop there to get a cab receipt. Just walk right through until you are outside and there are 3 ladies in a booth with glass in front to pay for the cabs. We spent most of our time at the adults only pool on the Hacienda side and it was great! The staff service was extremely friendly and always kept us happy with food and drinks. It was not busy at all so we felt like we always had our own private area of the pool! The weather was great! Each day was sunny and it only rained for about 1 hour at 4 PM one day. I was worried about the weather forecast headed into the vacation since it showed rain every day but this didn't happen. You could see clouds roll in over the mountains most nights and it may have rained there but we had plenty of sunshine and great weather. I would definitely go again! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
