Great, must stay if in Richmond

We came because we had plans at the convention center (which is literally right outside, a 30 second walk away). We chose to purchase an executive room to get access to the lounge. The executive lounge is great, very clean, staff is always there to greet and assist you, and the food/drink is always well stocked. The cookies were amazing and wish they had them every night! Check in was quick and easy, and the room was a standard room, beds were very comfortable and housekeeping did a wonderful job every day. We ordered room service and went to the restaurant downstairs (same food/menu). I will say the quality is much better at the restaurant than it was when it came to the room. Only complaint I have of this entire trip was the crab cakes are very fishy but the cajun pasta with lobster/shrimp made as a great substitute. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Terrible check-in. We were made to feel very unwelcome!

We have lived in Hiltons before and it has been a great experience. But this time around we were very disappointed. The check-in process was terrible. We were made to feel very unwelcome. Very unprofessional. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

We spent a long weekend here with a wedding party. We enjoyed the history of the hotel, the absolute perfect cleanliness of the guest rooms, and the friendliness and professionalism of the staff. The shuttle drivers were the best, taking us to wedding festivities that were held within a couple of miles proximity to the hotel. There are wonderful restaurants within walking distance. Our favorites are Perly's for brunch, Penne Lane to catch a soccer match while enjoying a pint, and a new favorite: Shhh Secret Sandwich Society. If you're up for a nice walk, the James River walk is less than a mile from the hotel. We've found a new favorite hotel in the beautiful capital city of our lovely Commonwealth of Virginia. Very Average Hilton Hotel

We had a three night stay booked and moved after the first night. The area of Richmond was just DEAD with no decent restaurants or activities. The staff were wonderful and polite. The Hotel was clean but the decor just made me cringe. The carpeting had large splatters of red over grey and as a physician I just couldn't get the image of splattered blood out of my head. The parking was a mess and the cars were stacked up in the entrance..was really concerned our rental car would get banged up. The Executive Lounge was way below average for most Hilton Hotels. Enjoyed our Stay!

We have encountered couple of rude and unprofessional staff. The hotel is otherwise nice. In-door pool is clean. Gym is OK. Executive lounge offers free breakfast and light meal/dessert in the afternoon. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
