Best Hotel in Rochester

Jan 24th, 2021

I just spent a week at this hotel and cannot say enough about the excellent quality/cleanliness of the hotel and the superior level of service from the friendly staff. Special mention to Mohammed and Jake at the front desk who accommodated multiple extensions to my stay and even arranged a prescription pick up and delivery to my room. Room service from Pittsburgh Blue and Bennedict's was among the best in room experiences I have had. Look forward to staying here again, whenever I am in Rochester. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

The Only Place To Stay

Jan 12th, 2021

I am, again, visiting the Mayo Clinic and staying at the Hilton Mayo Clinic Area. During the stay, I was admitted to the hospital without notice. I called the hotel and they packed my belongings in my luggage with care and stored everything until I was discharged and able to return to the hotel as a guest. The staff is universally kind and caring. Do not hesitate to select this hotel. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Best hotel ever

Dec 12th, 2020

I’ve visited the hotel Hilton over multiple stays over two months time for medical reasons. I had stayed at a competitor hotel that was closer to the clinic but in the end transferred here because of its cleanliness and professionalism. The concierge super visor Shane Halverson along with the staff including Amale and Kris and Darci were excellent. Their friendliness and willingness to go above and beyond made the stay wonderful. The manager Miki Radovanovic runs a great hotel particularly during a difficult time with the pandemic. Jake kaput and Cynthia did a great job with the front desk. Please also send my gratefulness to the chefs whose food was tasty and hot. You made a stay be as comfortable as one can during stressful times of medical issues and covid concerns. I will only stay at hiltons now due to this hotels visit. Thank you TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Consistent quality accomodations and service

Dec 12th, 2020

This is our go-to hotel for Mayo appointments. The staff is consistently friendly and you are treated like family. Rooms are ultra-clean, well-stocked, and quiet with a first-rate housekeeping staff that knows how to accommodate Mayo patients. Many of the staff have been with Hilton for years and greet us by name. As others mentioned, they always have a town car at the ready to take you to and from the Mayo/Gonda building if you are not up for the walk through the "subway" system which connects the hotel to Mayo. The Executive Lounge is a nice option if you choose - breakfast is way beyond typical continental style and so are the light dinner selections. Staff are at the ready to also serve a complimentary beer, wine or cocktail and the room is open round the clock if you want to come in and try out their deluxe cappuccino/espresso/hot chocolate machine, get a cold water or soda, help yourself to a snack, work on the computer, or relax by the large screen tv's. The hot tub, pool and sauna are also very very nice and never crowded so also a great place to relax. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

None Finer, Incredible Hotel and Staff

Dec 10th, 2020

Incredibly new and beautiful hotel. Comfortable and well-appointed rooms. The high point of the place, though, is the staff. We had the misfortune to have to stay next to the clinic for 3+ weeks. We had the good fortune to find this place. The Executive Lounge, on the 17th floor, is run by the most caring and competent team in the business. As I said, 3+ weeks here. I'd see them every morning and evening and they were interested in our condition and there for whatever we needed, anytime. Shane, Darcy, Kari, Lawrence, and Kris were warm and accommodating, and ran a tight ship. The staff offered help and ideas for whatever our day was about. Sara makes the best breakfast in town. The area is spotless and comfortable. We found the same in the common areas and lobby. The front desk staff was helpful and proactive. The Bell desk was friendly and offered any help, from directions to even a 2-block ride in the company Mercedes. I'd stay away from Pittsburgh Blue, there's much better within a block or two. It's really too bad what they're doing. Benedict's on the second floor offers a fine breakfast and lunch. Large indoor pool, with sauna and hottub, expansive workout room, and courtyard on 5th floor. Let's face it, a lot of people come to Rochester for hard and scary things. I hoped to make lemonade and found pure gold. Overall, one of the best hotel's I've stayed in, of the thousands.
