Meals here are pricey
Tucked within Sedona, Arizona's Village of Oak Creek neighborhood, the Hilton Sedona Resort at Bell Rock appeals to golfers, couples and relaxation-seekers. At this sprawling resort, visitors have access to an 18-hole championship golf course, swimming pools and hot tubs, a fitness center and the 25,000-square-foot eforea: spa, where treatments incorporate organic, locally sourced ingredients. What's more, this Hilton outpost – which participates in the brand's Hilton Honors loyalty program – offers two on-site eateries, including an upscale grill with Southwestern dishes and a casual cafe. Both venues received high marks from recent diners for their friendly servers and tasty (albeit expensive) dishes. After filling up, retreat to one of the property's 221 accommodations. Each guest room and suite features soothing colors, local artwork and natural elements like wood and granite, plus a gas fireplace, a kitchenette, an HD TV, a balcony or patio and internet access (use of which is covered by the daily resort fee). Then, head off-site to snap pics of Sedona's famous red rocks at Red Rock State Park, which sits approximately 17 miles away.

The mid-range Hilton Sedona has features to please both families and business travelers, including several pools, event services, the enormous spa, and a neighboring golf course. The Hilton is a 20-minute drive from Sedona, but red rock views are still spectacular (from certain rooms) and the atmosphere is more relaxed than in Uptown.

Beautiful red rock views can be enjoyed from some of these well-appointed guest rooms with a patio and fireplace. There are lovely public areas and recreational facilities, including one pool with a cascading waterfall.
